Welcome Stud. I'm Major Rick Tooth Callsign "Sabre" and will be your Flight Examiner (FE) for
this Performance Objective.

AAT10 - AG Missile Employment Employment is the tenth and final mission of the Advanced
Aircraft Training Qualification Course for the A/OA-10C.

Your grading will be based on the following in accordance with the A/OA-10 Aircrew Evaluation
Criteria: AFI11-2A-OA-10V2:

3.4.1.12. Area 62--Training Rules/ Rule of Engagement (ROE):


3.4.1.12.1. Qualified (Q): Adhered to and knowledgeable of all training rules/ROE.
3.4.1.12.2. Qualified Minus (Q-): Minor deviations. Made timely and positive corrections. Did
not jeopardize safety of flight.
3.4.1.12.3. Unqualified (U): Significant deviations indicating a lack of knowledge of training
rules/ROE.

3.4.3.4. Area 84--IR/EO Sensor Operation:


3.4.3.4.1. Qualified (Q): Correctly operated the sensor to acquire the target. Was able to
properly search and tune the sensor display to permit weapons delivery.
3.4.3.4.2. Qualified Minus (Q-): Poor tuning of sensor and/or poor search technique hindered
target identification
degrading weapons delivery. Did not thoroughly understand tuning and /or search procedures.
3.4.3.4.3. Unqualified (U): Improper tuning of sensor prevented target identification or
weapons delivery. Did not understand basic tuning controls and their function. Improper search
technique resulted in late or no TGT acquisition.

3.4.3.5. Area 85--Precision Guided Munitions Delivery Procedures:


3.4.3.5.1. Qualified (Q): Correctly released the PGM at the planned delivery parameters. Used
proper guidance procedures to optimally guide the PGM.
3.4.3.5.2. Qualified Minus (Q-): Minor errors resulting in release outside the planned PGM
delivery parameters degraded weapons effectiveness.
3.4.3.5.3. Unqualified (U): Improper release parameters resulted in the PGM being delivered
outside weapon/seeker limits. Major errors in execution of PGM delivery and/or recovery
procedures.

This PO will require you to fire Mavericks on fixed and moving ground targets. You must kill
all of the identified targets to pass this PO.

The pattern altitude for landing is 2500'.

The Hard Deck Restriction is in effect at 5000'. Do not violate this restriction unless it is
terminated.

I'll be your wingman on this flight so I can monitor your attack procedures.
