Welcome Stud. I'm Major Rick Tooth Callsign "Sabre" and will be your Flight Examiner (FE) for
this Performance Objective.

AFT03 - Countermeasures and Threat Avoidance is the third mission of the Advanced Aircraft
Training Qualification Course for the A/OA-10C.

Your grading will be based on the following in accordance with the A/OA-10 Aircrew Evaluation
Criteria: AFI11-2A-OA-10V2:

3.4.1.13. Area 63--Threat Reactions:

3.4.1.13.1. Qualified (Q): Threat reactions were timely and correct. Accomplished appropriate
countermeasures and performed maneuvers to counter threat.
3.4.1.13.2. Qualified Minus (Q-): Threat reactions were slow or inconsistent. Slow to
accomplish appropriate countermeasures or perform maneuvers to counter threat.
3.4.1.13.3. Unqualified (U): Numerous threat reactions were omitted or incorrect.Failed to
accomplish countermeasures or perform maneuvers to counter threat.

This PO will require you to deploy countermeasures and use threat avoidance techniques in a
simulated high threat environment.

We will be operating within a defined Military Operations Area (MOA).

The pattern altitude for landing is 2500'.

The Hard Deck Restriction is in effect at 5000'. Do not violate this restriction unless it is
terminated.
