What is root?
What is square?
Do you know how we can find square?
Square root of Perfect Square
For example,
4 and −4 are square roots of 16 because 42 = (−4)2 = 16.
Let's start by taking a look at an example evaluating the square root of 25.
25=?
Step 1: Ask, "What number squared equals {25}
Step 2: Notice that, 5, squared equals to 25
52=5×5=25 -------------------------- The answer is: 25= 5
Here's a question to make sure you understood:
How can we be sure that 5, is the right answering?
5 is a right answer because it is a half of 10. And it is an odd number.
Formative Evaluation
Question will be asked from students in different points of view during lesson according to the
situation and understanding of the students.

At the end of lesson different questions will be asked as summative evaluation regarding the
