Dear Chair DeLauro and Ranking Member Granger:

I am requesting funding for the Bivona Child Advocacy Center in fiscal year 2023.

The entity to receive funding for this project is Bivona Child Advocacy Center, located at 1 Mount
Hope Avenue, Rochester, NY 14620.

The funding would be used to fund child abuse prevention training by training facilitators and
teaching comprehensive, evidence-based child victimization prevention programs. The project's
mission is to empower children to recognize red flags around different types of maltreatment,
including sexual abuse and bullying, and to identify safe adults.
