Susan had a party last week.

He had invited all his friends to his house. He had invited his friends from work, his friends
from college, and his friends from his neighborhood. Guests started arriving around 7
o'clock for dinner.

Susan's best friend, Cindy, was there, in a red dress. And Susan's boyfriend, Tom, was
wearing a blue suit and he looked very handsome.

Cindy's boyfriend wasn't there because he was traveling on business. That day he was
negotiating a big contract in Sao Paolo. He had left the day before and would not be back
for two days.

Susan had made lasagna, which was very good. I had made enough lasagna for 30 people!
She had also made salad and stuffed aubergine. Everything was delicious

His friends brought wine to the party. Everyone was talking, drinking wine, and having fun.
As they ate, they talked about their lives and the political situation in their country (which
was terrible, like everywhere else).

Susan hadn't made any dessert, so they had chocolate ice cream, which was delicious.

Around 11 o'clock, everyone left except Cindy, who stayed to help Susan clean up.

Some people took taxis to go home and others took the subway. Other people walked.

After Susan and Cindy finished cleaning, they sat on the couch, had another glass of wine,
and relaxed. It had been a good night and they were both very tired.

The end.
