● Provided physical therapy intervention for post in-patient orthopedic surgeries and a variety of other medical
conditions. Skilled care included assistive device training, gait assessment, breathing exercises, bed
mobility/transfer, and caregiver training. Developed flexibility and time-management skills. Provided physical
therapy intervention in an acute care setting on the Medicine floor consisting of complex patients with a variety of
medical conditions. Demonstrated inter-professional collaboration through communication with nurses, CNAs,
social workers, case managers, OTs, RTs, and administrative staff.

West Suburban Medical Center, Out-Patient Orthopedics 01/31/22-03/11/22

● Provided physical therapy intervention for a variety of outpatient orthopedic conditions. Rehabilitated a variety of
diagnoses such as rotator cuff impingements, low back pain, post-stroke, amputees, post-THA, and post ACL repair.
Skilled care included pain management, gait training, functional activity training, stair navigation training,
modalities, manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and patient education. Increased my clinical problem-solving skills,
knowledge, and overall professional development.
