Question 1
Write a composition (300-350 words) on any one of the following: [15]

(a) Describe the day, when you woke up on the first day of complete lockdown due to COVID-19.
State what you saw and what were your feelings.
(b) Narrate the frightening scene you saw from your window, when you watched the cyclonic storm
'Nisarga' wreaking havoc in your city.

Question 2
a) A friend is coming to visit you. He is arriving by train. Write a letter to the friend
saying that you will meet him at a particular place at the railway station, and also your plans for, during
his/her stay. [10]

Question 3

a) Your school is organizing a drive for donating books to the underprivileged children living in a
slum colony near your school. Write a notice to be put up in your school informing the students
of Classes VI to X about the drive and asking them to donate their old books, to be given to an
organization, called 'My Book Bank' which provides books to the underprivileged children in
slum colonies. [5]
