Data Collection from Facilities
Data Collection from Facilities
The Department works closely with facilities to collect data for
the compilation of National GHG emissions inventory
The DEA collects activity and emissions data from facilities at
a company level for the compilation of GHG emissions
The sectors are divided according to the 2006 IPCC sector
mainly:
• Energy Sector: (this includes the main electricity generation,
petroleum refining, manufacture of solid fuels, manufacturing
industries and constriction, fugitive emissions etc.)
• IPPU Sector :(this includes mineral industry, metal industry, chemical
industry)
• Waste Sector: (includes waste water treatment plants, waste
incineration, solid waste disposal etc.)
