3. Disaster Risk Reduction Management - a. Generally, are we always

resilient and ready to deal with hazards and disasters, be it natural or
man-made? Justify your answer.

Answer: In our country’s situation regardless the COVID-19 situation, I think every
hazard and disaster that might come to us, we may not have that kind of resource to
be ready for any hazard or disaster but one thing that I know for sure is that, we
humans will always do anything to adapt these challenges. Typhoons, earthquake,
viruses, and more, all of those will surely be challenging to us but we were able to
survive the previous disasters and hazard as we are intelligent and we tend to adapt
to survive.

4. Authentic Christian Humanism - a. In Christian world, how one

would become true human being? b. As human being, how will you
relate with yours, others, society, nature, and most of all to God?

Answer: I think how I can become a true human being is by being myself and
finding my purpose and by fulfilling my life and being happy. To relate myself with
others, to society, to nature and to God is by helping others without having a cause
and effect to others. For example, as a business major student, I must innovate
products that will help an individual and give convenient to them without harming
society, nature, and not to against to God. I must be able to help to society and
nature and a sin to God.

5. Role of the youth in Social Transformation - Do you believe that

the youth is the hope of our nation? Why? What difference can you
make for our country?

Answer: Yes, I do believe that our generation and next generation will be able to
transform our nation and even the whole world as we people adapt every challenge
that come to us and be able to surpass it. It is proven that through decade every
generation were able to invent something that will give convenience to others and
improve our life in almost every aspect. What difference I can make is by being true to
our nation and have a clear and good goal that will help both humans and nature.

Part 2. Answer 2 out of 3 questions.

In this upcoming election:

 A. What are your bases/criteria for electing our political leaders?

Answer: Political leaders must encourage strategic thinking, innovation and

action, ethical and civil minded. Political leader must innovate something
that will help and develop conveniency to its people. Political leader must be
able to know to set priorities.

B. It is said, “follow your conscience” in choosing a right leader.

What does it mean to you?

Answer: For me, it’s like basing my decision on the knowledge that I got.
“Following your conscience” in choosing a right leader is like out of all your
experiences and knowledge we put it on a weight and weight them all and
think which one is the weights more and that is the one we are choosing.

Part 3. Based on our NSTP-01 discussions, give at least 3 specific

learnings/realizations from any of our class topics we have
discussed.

Answer: I have learned that difference types of hazards and disaster and how to
identify if an event is a disaster event. I have learned that there are two hazard one is
natural and second is a man-made disaster. Other one is the ten characteristics of a
servant leader, to become leader we must have these characteristics to become an
effective one. Being a leader, we must able to listen to others, have empathy, aware,
persuasion, conceptualization, foresight, stewardship, being able to commit a growth
to the people, build a community and a healing. Being able to recognize our skills,
knowledge, and value will help us to improve ourselves and become a better version of
ourselves. Lastly is the Authentic Christian Humanism, to become authentic Christians
we must honor Jesus Christ in every facet of our lives, both in and out of church. We
must serve and honor Jesus by being good to others, spreading the word of God and
helping those who are in need and being with them at there downtimes. By knowing
God we will able to know ourselves deeply and achieve great joy in our lives.
