PHLGA Meeting Minutes

Date: May 26, 2022

Call to Order: Linda Ward called the meeting to order at 12:48 PM.
In Attendance: LGA members.
Approval of the Minutes: The April Minutes were approved by a
majority vote.
Treasures Report: Presented by Margie Herberger for Karen Lord
Operating Fund: $4,507.54
Kactus Kapers: $3,113.21
Cash in Bank $7,620.75
The full Treasurer’s Report was emailed to all members. Any
questions should be referred to Karen.

Border: Presented by Margie Herberger

The next Border tournament will be June 21, 2022, at The Links in
Ruidoso for Cree Meadows. Checks must be given to Lori or Margie
by June 10 in the amount of $68 payable to PHCC LGA.
Please email Lori Coffelt if interested in carpooling. Let Janis Paul
know if you would like to play a practice round on June 20 for $55.
Janis will make the appropriate arrangements.

Senior Women: presented by Cheryl Tom-Nelson

Jean, Lori and Cheryl played at the last competition in Silver City.
Lori won First Gross in her flight. The next competition is June 20
at Los Altos in Albuquerque. Money must be in by June 10. Please

sign up on the bulletin board by the lockers and contact Cheryl
with questions.

Kactus Kapers: Presented by Chris Fritz

So far 62 players are signed up – the field is capped at 72. Other
clubs have now been invited, so if any PHCC member wants to
play, she must commit before the last 10 spaces are filled. All
that is needed now is the sign-up sheet and your commitment to
play. No money is needed until August.
Paula will organize the raffle and is seeking donations of cash.

Playday: Presented by Vicki Hook

Beginning next week with summer hours, we will tee off at 8 AM on
Thursdays. Reminder that next Thursday is the Member-Member.
Tomorrow is the last day to sign up, according to Chair Candy
Baker.

Advisory Report: No report from Paula Hansen.

Jill of the Hill: Congratulations to Jean Davis!
