1. With the readings above, what aspect of self-confidence struck you most? What are your
thoughts and feelings about it? What insights did you get out of this reading?
It is your attitude toward your abilities and skills. It implies that you simply accept
and trust yourself, which you've got a way of control over your life. you're tuned in to your
own strengths and weaknesses and have a positive self-image. you have got the power to
line realistic expectations and goals, communicate assertively, and handle criticism. Self-
confidence liberates you from self-doubt and negative thoughts about yourself. I'm feeling
less anxious and more fearless. Greater self-assurance ends up in a greater willingness to
require calculated risks and a greater ability to step outside of your temperature. Being less
susceptible to social anxiety. in keeping with the findings, confidence is one amongst those
key characteristics that may help us with anything. Confidence helps us act on our dreams,
have healthy relationships, and perform better on the work. In other words, confidence
could be a skill that you just can use on a daily to advance in life.
2. Self-confidence is an everyday process of building and rebuilding. Were there days that
you feel you are less confident of who you are and your potentials? What made you feel
that way during those times? How did you handle it?
Yes, there are times once I feel an absence of confidence and potential, especially
once I see my acquaintances or friends becoming successful and learning a way to be self-
sufficient in their lives. I desire I'm falling behind and losing motivation, and that i always
blame myself for not having the ability to handle myself and do things that may help me
reach the longer term. Furthermore, we've got a bent to work out ourselves and our lives in
an exceedingly more negative and important light. We also feel less capable of managing
the difficulties that life throws at us. I handle this by reminding myself to be kind to myself
because being kind to yourself entails being gentle with yourself even once you are feeling
self-critical. Consider what you'd tell a fan in an exceedingly similar situation. we often
provide better advice to others than we do to ourselves. Build positive relationships and
look at to surround yourself with those who are positive and appreciate you. Recognize
your strengths; we tend to enjoy doing what we're good at, which might help lift our
emotions.
3. What insights that are within your control and can help you to strengthen your self-
confidence?
Positive thinking, practice, training, knowledge, and conversing with others are all
effective ways to boost or boost your confidence levels. Feelings of well-being, acceptance
of your body and mind (self-esteem), and belief in your own ability, skills, and knowledge
all contribute to confidence. Although different people define self-confidence differently, it
simply means believing in yourself. Self-esteem isn't a static metric. Our confidence in
performing roles and tasks, similarly as handling situations, can fluctuate, and a few days
we may feel more confident than others.
