ACT UP this summer and discover your “dramatic” side!

We are offering BOTH traditional in-person camps AND online camps.

Safety measure for in-person camps in 2022:
*Please note that our safety measures are subject to change as the pandemic evolves or subsides.
1. We'll used painter's tape on the floor to delineate 6 ft so the kids can visualize it.

2. We recommend that campers wear masks, however they will be optional this summer.

3. We will move more of our instruction outside (weather permitting--we will not go out if it is raining or too hot).

4. We will be limiting use of shared props, board games, and crafts this year. We do give the kids a 20-minute snack
break in the morning, a midday lunch break, and a 20-minute afternoon snack break. Normally, we provide games
and activities for them to do during this time, but this summer, we ask that you send some activities in with your
child (i.e. coloring books, reading books, handheld games, blank paper and crayons, craft projects, etc.).

5. And we'll have lots of hand sanitizer on hand for the kids to use regularly throughout the day.

Enjoy one last hurrah before going back to school! Theatre is a fantastic medium for self-
expression. This 3-day camp will give students the chance to hone their public speaking
skills, learn how to improvise on stage, and perform skits. And most importantly, we’ll
have lots of last-minute fun before schools are back in session! Note: Since this is only a
3-day camp, there will be no performance at the end of the camp.

$180 for Full-Day Camp (9:00-4:00), $120 for Half-Day Camp (9:00-12:30 or 12:30-4:00),
$145 for Junior Director program* (9:00-4:00)
If you are interested in enrolling in just one or two days of this camp (at a price of $65/day for
full-day or $45/day for half-day), please email us at novadramakids@live.com.
Our Junior Director program offers a unique opportunity
for teens to learn the art of directing. The teens will
participate in and lead many of the activities that the
campers do. The Junior Directors will also be in charge of
directing the campers in their end-of-the-week skits.
Directing is no easy task, so our highly trained and
experienced teachers will be there to guide and teach the
Junior Directors as they navigate how to block a show,
how to guide actors properly, and how to put together a
play the whole way from page to stage. The Junior
Directors will also have the opportunity to perform in
their own end-of-week skit. Note: there are typically only
3-4 Junior Director slots per camp.
