Ultimatix Session

Overview of Ultimatix Session

1.Pre-requisites
– Note down your Employee ID/Employee number and keep it handy.
– Preferably join the session from Laptop and avoid joining from mobile.
– You would need a Smart phone to download applications, make sure you have enough Internal storage
memory in it.

2. Hands On Tasks
– Make your First Login to Ultimatix using default password and change password.
– Download and Install UX apps and Ultimatix Authenticator app.
– Login to Ultimatix portal using authcode.

Important Rule

Do not enter wrong password three times as three wrong attempts leads to locking of Ultimatix
account

Note: If your first attempt is wrong close the page, browser, refresh and try after some time.

If you lock your account, you will have to mail your HR/OBM who sent you the welcome mail and mention your
Employee ID, Batch, DOJ & DOB.

Change Ultimatix Default Password
1. On Laptop Go to browser and Open https://www.ultimatix.net
2. It will redirect to Ultimatix login page (as you are using Ultimatix credentials for the first time, use the below)
3. .Username : Enter your Employee ID and click proceed.
4. .Then select login method as “Password”
5. .Password : Enter your default password ChangePwd@DOB in DDMMYYYY (Here DOB is your date of birth)
For e.g., the birth date for an associate is 6th Aug 1997 the default password for that associate will be
ChangePwd@06081997
5. Once you click login in above step you will be prompted to change the password.
6. A dialogue box will appear asking below details:
▪ Date Of Joining : enter your date of joining
▪ Old password : enter the default password
▪ New password : (suggestion for new password sud#098LKw)
▪ Confirm password: put the same password that you filled in new password field
▪ (To set new password take care of the password policy : (Password should be of min 8 characters
,combination of integers, upper case alphabets ,lower case alphabets and special characters )
7. Click submit

Scenarios after Changing Default Password

▪ Once the password is changed successfully a message will come Password has been changed successfully.
▪ Keep a note of the new password that you will be setting as going forward wherever Ultimatix password
will be asked you have to enter that new password
▪ After default password change on Laptop please note on below four cases that you would be part of:

▪ CASE 1 : quick dialogue box of password change successful -> Set up authenticator guide page loads
▪ CASE 2 : quick dialogue box of password change successful -> Blue page with password change successful
message
▪ CASE 3 : quick dialogue box of password change successful and wait for 25 minutes for it to reflect -> Plain blue
page
▪ CASE 4 : Directly into ultimatix homepage

▪ Case 3 and 4 does not ensure successful password change. And hence people belonging to these two cases can
try next steps but if you get incorrect password error after entering new ultimatix password then you must not
move ahead with hands on. Later in the evening first repeat the step of default password change then complete
the application set up.

Ux Apps Download
1. On mobile phone open a fresh browser page and enter the link : https://uxapps.ultimatix.net , you will be
redirected to Ultimatix login page.
2. Username : Enter your Employee ID and click proceed. Then select login method as “Password”
3. Password : Enter the new Ultimatix password that you have set in previous steps.
4. Once login is successful you will be redirected to the page from where you can download the Ux Apps.
5. Download Ux Apps from that page on your smartphone
depending on OS of your phones (Android/iOS) by
Accepting terms and conditions

Note : For iPhone users you have to give the

security permissions to the application while
downloading.

Steps for Installation on iOS

After the app is visible in app library,

▪ Step 1:Go to Settings>General>Device Management—Under Enterprise Applications ‘Tata Consultancy Services’
would appear.
▪ Step 2:Select the required application and Click on trust app.

Common Solutions for Errors on Android

1. In the Device Settings> Allow Installation from Unknown Resources
2. Device Primary Storage should be Primary Storage and not SD Card/External memory.
3. Make sure to have enough storage space on your Device.
4. In case any third-party app or antivirus is blocking installation you have to block/remove that app for
installation of Ultimatix apps.

Ux App Install and Set Up
1. Once the Ux Apps app is downloaded Click on Install.
2. After successful installation of Ux Apps. Close the browser and all the tabs on your phone.

Now go to Ux Apps icon on the phone and Open the app.

3. You will be redirected to Ux Apps Login.

4. Enter your Employee ID as username.
5. Select login method as Password.
6. Enter the new Ultimatix password that you have set.
7. Click login.

Ux Authenticator App Download, Install and Set Up
After successful login in previous step, you will be led to app interface screen where you can find all the related
applications.
1. Search & download the Ultimatix Authenticator app from Ux Apps.
2. Install Ultimatix Authenticator app.
3. After successful installation, Open Ultimatix Authenticator app and Click on Begin setup.
4. Login with your Ultimatix credentials Username (enter your employee ID) and Password ( the new ultimatix
password that you have set).

Ux Authenticator App Download, Install and Set Up
After successful login in previous step, you will be led to app interface and you must complete app set up
5. For future access to Authenticator App, set a unique 4-digit PIN. Confirm the PIN.
6. Set up is complete. Go to next page on instructions to use Authenticator App.
7. Click on Generate AuthCode. ( An Authcode generated is valid for 60 sec and a new authcode is generated
after every 60 secs.)
8. Close the app, browsers and every tab.

Ultimatix Authenticator App

Ultimatix Portal Login Steps
Once the Ultimatix Authenticator App is set up on your phones every time you login to Ultimatix portal through
laptop/desktop/mobile phones you must use the Ultimatix Authenticator App to generate Authcode and use it for
login.

Ultimatix Portal Login Steps
Steps to make login into Ultimatix Portal on Laptop & mobile Phones
1. Open https://www.ultimatix.net in browser of mobile phones.
2. You will be directed to the login page.
Username : Enter your Employee ID and click proceed. Then authcode field will come.
3. Open Ultimatix Authenticator App.
4. Copy AuthCode from app
5. Go back to login page and enter the AuthCode
in the authcode field.
6. Click login.
7. After successful login you will be redirected to
Ultimatix homepage.

Password Management
1. You can login to any of the TCS Network Machines for resetting your India Domain credentials

2. Please reset your Password by providing Default Password (ChangePwd@DOB in DDMMYYYY format). Connect
with your XP Coordinator/Onboarding Manager for more details

▪ Please note that Ultimatix, India Domain, Webmail/Outlook Password is valid for 30 days from the time of
activation

▪ Three Incorrect attempts of India Domain & Ultimatix password, would lock your account. You can reset the
same using Password Management Link in Ultimatix

▪ Through Password Management Link you can reset your India Domain, Ultimatix and Webmail/Outlook
credentials

▪ You need to set Five Secret questions. This will be useful while you reset your Ultimatix password if it is locked

Note: It is very important to set the secret question initially to manage all the above said features and you can

 TASK 2 : Set INDIA Domain Password
Overview of the steps:
1. Log in to Ultimatix with Authcode go to Password management option (present at top right of the Home page)
as shown below:

2. Go to Domain Account (APAC, EMEA, INDIA, NOAM, SOAM, Globe, Digitate)
3. Click on Change Password/Unlock Account

▪ Date of Joining (dd/mm/yyyy) : <your date of joining>
▪ Ultimatix Password : <Use the ultimatix password that you have set for your utilmatix portal> / Authcode :

▪ Your Secret Answer :
▪ Domain : Select “INDIA” as domain from the drop down

▪ Click on the Password Policy to check on the type of password to be set. Then according to password policy set
the password for INDIA Domain , take a note of it and click submit
▪ Once the password is set this new password for INDIA domain will be used wherever you will be asked to enter
password for INDIA domain.

Navigation: Ultimatix ->Applications -> Employee Services ->Global ESS -> My Profile -> Select Email

Note: The TCS mail takes two working days to get activated, from the day the mail id is selected.

For trainees, the email can be accessed using the below link :
Outside TCS Network: https://myapp.tcs.com
Two steps login for above link:
1. Username: <employee ID> & Password: <your new Ultimatix password>
2. Username: <employee ID> & Authcode
3. Click on “Use lighter Version”, Citrix server should not be downloaded.
Two ways by which trainees can access mails are by :
1. Exchange_Mail 2. O365_Webmail
For logging into exchange mail use:
Username : emp ID/ <emp ID>@tcs.com / INDIA\ emp id
Password : <Your India Domain Password>

Note:
1.Please make sure that you have selected TCS mail and have access to the mailbox by Day 5 of your training, as all the
important updates will only be shared to you on your TCS mail.
2.Once you have access to TCS mail use TCS mail only for communicating inside TCS and refrain from using Personal
Mail ID as it will lead to security violation.

▪ iEvolve is a Web Self Learning platform which will assist you in completing all the Technical, Softskills, Domain
learnings, Certifications and Mandatory Trainings
▪ As a part of Joining process, you need to complete all the Mandatory trainings in the portal.
▪ If you are non-compliant to Few courses will leads to restriction of your Ultimatix Access, Customer & Project
allocation.

Once you login iEvolve in Learner Portal you can access Mandatory Trainings through Quick Links.

▪ Most of the courses has a validity of One year from date of completion

▪ You need to complete the course with Mastery Score of 80 for most of the courses. Unlimited Attempts will be
provided

▪ Kindly ensure that all these mandatory trainings needs to be completed max by 10 days from your DOJ. Delay

To Do List

▪ Go to Ultimatix URL ( https://www.ultimatix.net ) to change default password and set new password for
Ultimatix.

▪ Download Ux Apps and Ultimatix Authenticator app on mobile from the link- https://uxapps.ultimatix.net ,

▪ Login to Ultimatix portal using authcode.

▪ Task 1: Set five secret questions. (go to My Profile icon on homepage > Password Management)

▪ Task 2: Set India Domain Password. (go to My Profile icon on homepage > Password Management)

▪ Task 3: Once you get “select email” option on GESS complete selecting TCS mail. After 24-48 hours check if mail
is activated and access the mailbox.

▪ Update Mandatory Payroll details & Vaccination details on GESS.

▪ Be alert on mailers from iON/Xplore community regarding Important Documents shared for your reference to
complete both Hands-On and Other Tasks.
