Skating was originally referred to as 'Sidewalk Surfing' skateboards began to be

Emilio Pucci
Emilio Pucci is known for being bold and different in his
designs. He founded his fashion house in 1951. He
introduced the style, ‘sportswear chic’ with his first
collection at Palazzo Pitti in Florence.
In the mid-1960s, he was hired by Braniff Airways to
design new clothes for the hostesses. This was the
opportunity of a lifetime for Emilio, especially the title of
being one of the first designers to bring Italian fashion

Ritu Beri’s name is synonymous with the

explosive globalization of India's fashion

She learned the Art of Fashion at the National

Institute of Fashion Technology, New Delhi,

affiliated to F.I.T. New York in 1990.

Apart from being a Fashion Designer, Ritu Beri is
also spectacular in writing. She has gifted the world
with 5 books till date.
In 2006, Bollywood star Akshay Kumar released
Ritu's maiden book, "Firefly: A Fairytale", which she
herself published.
The book deals with topics like architecture, history
women's and Ritu beauty, Beri's experiences in
Paris.
It was a limited edition book with only 100 copies
which also was the most expensive Indian book
pricing Rs 1 lakh.
The book release was a great success as it was sold
out in hours and then went in to print the second
edition the very next day

It was an extravagant spectacle and drew immense

Ritu Beri, in 2010, was bestowed the title of Chevalier


des Arts et des Lettres (Knight of the Order of Arts
