NEED FOR STUDY

The study is undertaken to understand the opportunities and challenges faced by E-


Commerce companies during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The new COVID-19 outbreak has radically altered the existing business situation. Many
people are feeling paralyzed by fear. Unfortunately, the future of business appears to be
bleak for some. For the time being, there are still feasible options of generating cash for
stores that have closed their doors! Having a solid E-Commerce platform can help you
generate consistent revenue and save your company.

STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM

COVID-19 has been particularly difficult for businesses around the world, highlighting the
unique role that e-commerce can play in this crisis and beyond.

We believe that in the post-COVID-19 world, the unprecedented growth of e-commerce


businesses will disrupt national retail frameworks and international trade fundamentals,
presenting unique opportunities for growth both domestically and internationally.
OBJEVTIVES OF THE STUDY

1. To study performance of e-commerce companies during COVID 19 pandemic.

2. To find out challenges faced by e-commerce companies during COVID-19 pandemic.

3. To know the safety measures taken by e-commerce companies to protect their


customers.

SAMPLING

Since this research is entirely based on secondary data, several methods such as internet-
enabled devices, libraries, journals, and books were employed to gather information.

SOURCES OF DATA

The type of collected data is Secondary data.

Secondary data is the data that has already been collected through primary sources and
made readily available for researchers to use for their own research.

TOOLS FOR DATA COLLECTION.

For analyzing the problem under study, secondary data was used.

The secondary data were collected from books, journal, and various websites.

PLAN OF ANALYSIS.

Secondary data refers to data that is collected by someone other than the primary user
information collected by organizational records and data that was originally collected for
other research purposes are collected by the investigator conducting the research.

Secondary data analysis can save time that would otherwise be spent collecting data and,
particularly in the case of can provide larger and higher-quality databases that would be
unfeasible for any individual researcher to collect on their own.
