The peninsula of Southern India is home to one of the most unique and powerful forms of

mysticism. Its influence can clearly be seen in South India’s vibrant and profound culture.
The yogis and mystics of this land created many tools for a human being to reach their
ultimate nature. The most obvious and well known of these tools are the magnificent
temples in this region.

These temples were not created as places of worship, but as energized spaces that touch a
human being at the most fundamental level and create tremendous possibilities. For those
who are on the spiritual path, these temples can be a great catalyst and support. The impact
of their energies has a lasting presence, which stays with the individual long after leaving
the space.

The ancient South Indian temples were built based on an intricate science.
Every minute detail of these magnificent structures was perfectly designed
and matched to create a tremendous field of energy. These are not places for
prayer but to simply sit and charge yourself with a powerful energy that
enhances life in a phenomenal way.

SHARINGS

“The fact that I was walking on the same beautiful temple paths as some great saints had in
the past, was unbelievable. It was a mesmerizing experience at Rameshwaram. It was
totally unbelievable and mind blowing how each of the 22 water wells had very different
water consistencies. This was one of the most blessed life experiences for me.”
-Ruma, Canada

“Visiting all the temples inspired me - that these amazing and fantastic places were created
for inner wellbeing and inner freedom. I am impressed with how people gave themselves to
create these conducive atmospheres for spiritual development.”
-So Man Chun, Hong Kong

“Traveling through the towns was an experience I will never forget. So much chaos and
color in perfect order - it's truly the most colorful culture. The whole yatra was profound
and the volunteers took so much care in making sure every detail was just right. I felt as
though Sadhguru was walking with us for the whole sojourn.”
-Kyle, USA

“I never knew there was so much intention and significance in the temple designs and the
purpose of visiting them until this sojourn. To see the amazing craft in the architecture, I

thousands of years ago.”
