2020-Present Lead Primary Teacher, La Mariposa Montessori School
I am responsible for the care and education of children from 3-6
years. Using principles and materials developed by Dr. Montessori
along with knowledge of other child-centered approaches and
research based strategies, I develop and implement preschool, pre-K
and kindergarten curriculum to a classroom of up to 28 children, in
whole group, small groups and individually. In order to support a joyful
and enriching education, I collaborate with my assistant and other
colleagues to organize guest visits and seasonal events. In addition, I
maintain classroom records, create the class yearbook, communicate
with families and staff through a variety of ways, and take courses to
further my professional development.

followed and created lesson plans that meet the educational needs of
students. As a long-term 6th grade substitute, I collaborated with
colleagues to provide group and individual instruction to meet
students’ individual needs, kept detailed records, administered
assessments, and communicated with families through text, phone,
email, conferences and newsletters. I attended meetings and
professional development workshops in order to learn how to further
support students and the school community. In addition, I organized
field trips, guest speakers, and events to further enrichment. I
