INTERNAL GUIDELINES

A. Vacation Service Credits

1. All Local Service Credits earned this school year and previous prior to the release of School
Memorandum on Leave of Absence and Vacation Service Credits without written
agreement/arrangement shall not be granted.
2. The request for grant of local service credits must be filed to the school clerk with a letter
request describing the overtime work for the purpose of granting the service credit and DTR
in two copies. Local service credits shall be used for the year they are earned otherwise it
will be forfeited. Maximum local service credits shall be 15 per year or as decided by the OP.

B. Leave of Absence

1. Three Leave of Absences per month shall be equivalent to 1 official salary deduction. Leave
of Absence Form shall be filed to the school clerk not to the disbursing officer subject to the
perusal of the Office of the Principal. The following reasons shall be valid for leave of
absence, still subject to OP approval, but not limited to:
a. Health concerns
b. Funeral of immediate family member
c. Family emergencies
d. Immediate professional development not covered by legal mandates
e. birthday

Unused leave of absence shall be non-cumulative and non-commutative.

2. Automatic salary deduction shall be made with unauthorized leave of absences.

C. AWA

1. The count for the earliest possible time in for a 6-hour working schedule shall start at
7:30AM.
