REPORT

We are honored to Introduce our Inauguration glimpse on behalf of the Chandigarh University IEEE-
RAS CUSB Student Chapter. A special day with our expert Mandeep Kaur Tangra & Professor
Navneet Kaur shares the beautiful experiences and addressed the students on the diversity of
Research & Innovation and their Experiences, an event organized by IEEE Robotics &
Automation Society CUSB with the Collaboration of IEEE Photonics Society CUSB & IEEE
Women in Engineering CUSB under the Guidance of IEEE CUSB. An exhilarating and intuitive
session with the presence of our professor’s and expert of Chandigarh University as the Guest
Speaker’s. In our Panel with us we had Prof. Sugandha Sharma, Assistant Dean Co-Curricular
Activities & Professional Bodies, Dr Paras Chawla, Associate Dean Curriculum Development, Dr.
Jaspinder Kaur, Prof. Mechatronics Engineering, Prof. Birinderjit Singh Kalyan Sir, Professor
Dept. Of Electrical Engineering, Dr. Gaurav Kumar Bharti, Chapter Advisor IEEE CUSB Photonics
Society & Chairperson IEEE Photonics Society CU and Sheetal Gaur Chair IEEE RAS CUSB were
present in the event.

The event was started off by the host Sheetal Gaur & Lakshay Chawla by welcoming the Guest
speaker Mandeep Kaur Tangra and the participants as well. The event was 1.30 hour long in that
Speaker Introduction and achievement delivered by the host.

After a great presentation by our chief speaker, Prof. Birinderjit Singh Kalyan Sir presented a vote
of thank and establishing new relationship with Mandeep Kaur Tangra and Professor Navneet
Kaur. At the end Prof. Birinderjit Singh Kalyan Sir collectively presented Token of
Appreciation to our Expert Speaker praised and thanked them for their invaluable presence in
the event and for enlightening all of us with incredible insights. Before the departure of the
Panelist’s Lakshay Chawla, Sheetal Gaur, Divyansh Bansal, Rajnish Patel, Ishan Kaushik, Karanbir
Singh, Sarthak Chauhan and Shashank Pareek also appreciated the presence of the Expert and all panel
and thanked them for gracious presence in the event on the special occasion. With this we came to the
end of this event.
