Dear Sir/Ma’am;

In pursuance to Barangay Ordinance # 5 Series of 2021 otherwise known as An

Ordinance Prohibiting Dogs to Stray in Public and Private Street, Offices and Buildings in
Barangay Gubatan, Maco, Compostela Valley Province and Providing Penalties Thereof,
that aims to have a safer and healthier Barangay to live.

Recently the Department of Interior and Local Government issued a Memorandum

Circular No. 2021-020 OTHERWISE KNOWN AS “LOCAL GOVERNMENT UNIT
IMPLEMENTATION OF REPUBLIC ACT NO. 9482 OR THE ANTI-RABIES ACT OF 2007,
REITERETING DILG MEMORANDUM CIRCULAR NO. 2011-30 DATED MARCH 3, 2011 AND
2014-58 DATED MAY 6, 2014, to protect the people from rabies of cats and dogs.

Anent to this may we request from the personnel of Municipal Agriculture’s Office to
CONDUCT VACCINATION OF DOGS AND CATS, as long as the vaccine is available.
