Conservative:
- Gun control laws do not deter crime; gun ownership deters crime.
- The Second Amendment was intended to protect gun ownership of all
able-bodied men so that they could participate in the militia to keep the peace
and defend the country if needed.
Liberal:
- More gun control laws would reduce gun deaths.
- The Second Amendment was intended to protect the right of militias to own
guns, not the right of individuals.

People say that guns kill people, but that is not true. People kill people, some
don’t believe that but it is true, if guns killed people they would not be sold. People need
guns to be able to hunt and to eat, and we need guns to be able to be able to protect
one another. Hunting has been around forever literally forever. Without hunting we
wouldn't be able to eat, now I am not saying that guns are the only thing that kill
animals, yes we have bows, but guns are way more easy to use to kill animals. Without
guns we wouldn’t be able to shoot as far and be able to kill the amount of animals we
can now.
Liberal:

More gun laws can keep people safe, and more guns would reduce gun deaths.
People need to learn to rely on everyone else, not ourselves. The police and army need
to save us, we can not do things on our own.

Neutral:

Liberals see gun owners as bad people, people don’t need guns and we have to
rely on police and military when sometimes they can not get to the person in time and
need to protect themselves and sometimes their children if they have any. Guns can be
used for many things like safety, hunting, and training. People can use guns in training
in places like the military and police force to keep others safe.
