Front cover shoot plans

Who: My sister (Abbie Lambert)

What: My main story is about a uni drop out who has managed to start her own business from home, So I want these images
to represent her as powerful as she has managed to be successful even after dropping out of uni. I will be able to achieve this
idea of her looking powerful using low camera angles to make her seem bigger, which emphasises her importance.
When: I will be doing all the shoots with my sister in on Wednesday 15th June, and if I don't manage to get them all done on
this day, I will do some shoots on the weekend.
Where: I will be taking this shoot in my house having some images where my model is sitting at the table on her laptop with
books to emphasise the representations of her having a business from home, However, I could also have her sitting in a more
comfortable environment such as on a bed in a bedroom to give this idea that she is running this business at home with
comfort, but still looking and being successful.
Why: This will help my project as the main story and the representations I want to create within this shoot, it will aim towards
my aspirational target audience but also the 16–25-year-old audience, as this is a story that will represent someone like them.
I think these choices will help me to target my audience and reflect their wants and needs for a magazine.

Props: I would like my model to perhaps have some images, within this
shoot, where she is holding a pen or a book because this may help to Equipment
emphasise the representations and audiences will be able to clearly
see she looks smart and someone who perhaps has a business or is in For this shoot I will be using
a work environment. However, my model won't be holding something my DSLR camera to get good
quality images, as I think a mobile
in every image of this shoot because I want to get a variety of images phone will not reflect
so I can see which would work best and reflect this story best. professionalism within my images.
Costume I would like my model to be dressed in smart casual clothes as she is still going to be
represented to be a young adult who has dropped out of uni so needs to be realistic
to how they would dress, but also this business is run from the comfort of her home so
she may want to dress more casual. Since my smaller stories will be focussing on
fashion and looking professional and fashionable, I want these images to represent
similar ideas, but more focussed on the representations I wanted to create.

Hair and make-up: I want my model to look young and a lot of young women wear
makeup, so I would like my model to have a light make-up look since she is still doing
her business from her own home. I would like my model's hair to be down and straight
to look professional.

cover
This is how I would like my front cover for my first issue
magazine to look like, however, the image may not be the
one I decide to use on my actual magazine. After doing
my shoot for my main story, I will be able to see what
image would work best for the front cover, this just gave
me an idea on how I can place text around my image.
Content pages shoot plans
Who: For my smaller stories, I will be using the same model as in my front cover, However, For one image I want to get an image of myself
since I'm the editor of the magazine, so I would like to do a letter from the editor in the first edition of my magazine to introduce it to
audiences. I may need to use an assistant for this image to help me, so I plan to use my sister to assist me on this shoot.
What: One of my stories on the content's pages will be representing the main story in more depth so I plan to have an image of the model
outside of the uni she dropped out of to show both sides to the story in her success. The other of my smaller stories is about how to look
smart but fashionable, so I will have images of my same model in some fashionable and smart business clothing perhaps behind a plain
coloured background. The other story is about job tips so I could have my model sitting down at a business chair with a pen and notepad to
give this idea of her showing tips that are written down in her notebook.
When: All the shoots with my sister, I plan to do on Wednesday 15th June, but if I don't manage to get all the shoots, I will do th em on the
weekend as well. The shoot of me, I will get assistance from my sister taking it on the 15th or 18th June.
Where: My smaller story that is giving more on the main story will be taken outside of Bucks Uni to show the uni she dropped out of. The
fashion story will be taken at my house, as in my garden I have a pink door for my garden shed, which I think would work well for a
backdrop on these images. The story on job tips will be taken at my house as well, like in the front cover shoot. The image of me as the
editor, I plan to be taken behind a white background and of my full body, since I plan to use this as a cut out for my magazine later.
Why: This will help my project because it will show some variety and creativity in the use of locations and different mis-en-scenes I can use
to create these stories for my content's pages, but also having the same model, will allow me to have consistency in the representation
throughout my magazine. Props: For the job idea images, I will be having my model holding pens and possibly a small notepad, however, for the rest of the images I don't
plan for my models to be holding any other props.

my shoot for my story that connects with the
main story to look on my contents page.
This is how I would like my photoshoot
for my story on job interview tips to look
like for my contents page. I did two
different drawings because in the shoot,
I would like to try different angels,
positions and perhaps locations.

content's pages, but the poses might vary, but I will be having full body shots.
