Type of product:
We will be making a 30 minute radio breakfast show that is light hearted, fun and lively. It
will include Jingles and ADs that include information, there will also be an interview in the
radio show as well as time checks and music in between the talking about subjects.

Name of radio show

Wacky Wednesdays 9:30-10 am it's a good time because it's only half an hour and it's in the
morning and people are up and are in college. It is on at this time because this is when most
people arrive at college in the morning and alert so they'd pay attention to the show.
It will also help wake people up in the morning, we will be talking about light hearted funny
things so it won't be pressuring or making anyones morning bad.

Priestley radio station has been here since 2010, and the slogan is your station your sounds

Target audience
Male and females aged 16-18 that attend priestley college.
Interested in new trendy things or need guidance with what subjects to pick or just general
everyday life talk.eg how's your day going or how has your weekend been. Also help or
advice with college and how to deal with college. The target audience of Priestly college
mostly go to lessons or hang about in Viola and Crescent during free breaks or no lessons,
they might listen to music. They like music, art, hanging with friends and social media, some
like work or homework. The target audience also likes to watch people perform and like
consoles and gaming as well as watching movies and shows.
We will make it so that everybody feels welcome and comfortable and we will make sure not
to upset anybody. The target audience consists of young teens and adults, it is a light
hearted breakfast show that anybody can listen to and hopefully it will brighten their day.
We will discuss a range of things within our show that give guidance on many different topics
that students may be struggling with day to day. We aim to help and try to make people's
lives less stressful

Funky hop songs - this is to make the show feel bright and light hearted with a pop, fun feel
Chatter about new trendy topics and everyday life - give updates on things that are going on
with college or local activities and give information about what is going on.
We will also talk about trends that are becoming popular such as clothing items or gadgets
and phones. Examples of funky hop are artists like Drake, Rihanna etc.

Favourite current songs- We will talk about new songs that have dropped recently and give
our opinion on them and talk about artists that are trending and currently are popular.

What are good musical instruments to learn and play? The flute? Piano? Learn a new talent

Sports
Football- We will give updates about sports such as football since it is a very popular sport
and many peers enjoy it and will want to hear about it. There will be discussion about current
sports and big key events that have happened in the sport industry. Sport is very popular
and our target audience may be interested in it. Therefore we think it would be an interesting
topic to talk about in our show and it will keep the audience entertained when making our
radio show.

New games - We will give reviews on new games that are coming out or have recently been
released and give our opinion about them or give a brief explanation about what it is and
information about the game

We will give reviews on consoles too such as the switch,PS5, Xbox and many other new
things that have been released. We will talk about this because it is relevant to our target
audience and a large majority of our peer group enjoy gaming and new gadgets.

New phone/gadgets
We will talk about new phones and gadgets in the show because phones and gadgets are
relevant and our target audience revolves around technology and the latest trends.

Media/film
New movies or shows reviews of interest to target audience- We will give ratings and
reviews of new popular movies or shows such as Spiderman or the new Netflix series The
Witcher, Cobra Kai or Emily in Paris and many more.

which offers more or has a broader range of movies/shows to watch from. Does one offer
exclusive shows and TVs? Does that mean it's better?

Fashion
New clothing - We will talk about new big trendy clothing items that have dropped recently
and give our opinion if they are a hit or a miss. An example of this would be are the new
Jordan 1s colour scheme is nice or not, which colour scheme is better and cooler which are
overrated or not as nice, or not a “hit”. There will be talk about new fashion trends in the new
year and we may predict what will be popular this year and what we think will not and items,
clothing or trends that will be left in 2021.

General lifestyle/social life

Talk about the new year 2022- We will talk about the new year and think on goals that we
may want to achieve and talk about big events or things that will happen this year that will
interest our target audience such as concerts or festivals or new places that are opening up
around local areas.

Review of the year We will talk about new inspirational things and encourage people to do
good motivational things this year and start fresh with a good healthy mindset ready to
smash the new year and accomplish goals.
We will talk about what our thoughts are on covid and restrictions, and if things will ever go
back to normal in the new year and if we will ever be able to see friends and family properly
in 2022.

Favourite memory from the holidays- What was your favourite memory from the holidays or
what do you like to do around christmas time (christmas markets, shopping, eating out etc.

What did we do in the holidays- we will discuss what we did in the holidays and talk about
what we like to do.

Hobbies- We will talk about what hobbies that the target audience may be interested in such
as arts and crafts or media and making short films, working out and keeping a healthy
lifestyle or playing instruments/making music and much more. We will also suggest good
hobbies and fun activities to do to motivate people. We may do this as a weekly feature
where we discuss a new hobby or fun activity to get involved in.

Holidays?- We will talk about if people will be going on holiday or doing things in the summer
such as little trips and activities. We will talk about nice places to go and also talk about if we
think that we will even be allowed to go anywhere due to covid restrictions.
Youtube or netflix- Which streaming is the better out of the two, such as is Netflix a better
choice than Youtube?
Does netflix give more content than youtube or the other way around?
We will talk about the facts of youtube and netflix, which one is expensive or not, which ones
are more popular and used more.

College life/guidance
How to pick subjects- We will give guidance to students about how to pick subjects suitable
for them and how to find out what they may like since a lot of people struggle with doing this.
We will give ideas and tips on how to deal with it.

How to revise- We will give tips and tricks on how to revise and keep on top of college work
and we will suggest methods that may be able to help students not stress and ease their
revision.

Rate subjects- What subject is better than the other? Why are they better? Which do we
enjoy more?

What clubs or extracurricular activities students can try out or take- We will also discuss what
clubs or activities students can try out or take part in such as sign language classes, music
classes, yoga, video production, theatre and many more. We will give a brief explanation
about what they are and how students can always try something new that may be interesting
and something new to try out and where they can pick up skills.

How to make friends- We will give students advice on how to make friends and if they are
struggling we will give them tips on what to do.

Where's the best place to chill out in college- is it the crescent cafe or the viola beach cafe?

Getting to college- which bus is the best? Is walking driving or taking the bus the best way

Veganuary Talk about veganuary since it is current and popular and we should encourage
more people participate in it.

How to keep on top of college/advice

How to keep on top of coursework- Tips and ideas on how to keep up on coursework and
help students not fall behind on their work and keep everything up to date ready

How to keep on top of homework- We will discuss how to keep on top of your homework and
chat about different strategies to keep on top of work.

How not to be late to college- we will discuss how not to be late to college on sleep
schedules and making a good schedule for the morning such as waking up earlier if you tend
to be late.
