EXTRACURRICULAR

Girls Varsity Soccer ●

I have been on the girls varsity soccer team for 3
years now. Varsity soccer has taught me
teamwork and cooperation on a high
competitive level.
Girls Varsity Basketball
I was on basketball for the first two years of my
high school experience. Unfortunately it had to
come to an end due to my commitment with
club soccer during the same season.
Girls Varsity Cross Country
Freshman year I decided to try out cross country
to get myself in good shape for soccer season.
As a freshman trying out for varsity I knew that I
needed to get an edge over the other girls
trying out.
Virginia Rush Club Soccer
During the fall season I play club soccer for
Virginia Rush. By playing club I can play more
committed and competitive teams. I may also
get a scholarship for college.
Leadership Workshop Staff Member
Leadership Workshop is a weekend where
upperclassmen on staff teach underclassman
leadership skills through skits, games,songs, and
other activities. As a staff member, I set an
example to all of the underclassmen of how to
be a respectful leader and helped plan the
whole weekend.

Operation Smile Club

I have been a part of the operation smile club
for all three years of my high school experience.
Operation Smile is a non profit organization that
helps kids with cleft lips or clip palettes, usually
in foreign countries. In this club we do lots of
fundraising and community service.

VOLUNTEERING
Running Events
I have volunteered at numerous races like the Fun Run, Operation Smile Final Mile, Dalton's Race
and Botanical Gardens Race. At the races I typically direct people, cheer people on, and hand out
water
Camps
For the past three summers I have volunteered at Cox Camps. I have volunteered for all track,
basketball, and soccer camps. They all last four hours everyday for a week long
Rush Top Soccer
Rush Top Soccer is a program that my club team does where you assist disable children and play
soccer with them.
