6.A] The gure illustrates the manner in which a wattmeter is connected to a passive
network to measure the average power of the network. Power is sometimes measured in a
three-phase system using the two-wattmeter method. Let two wattmeters and
be connected into a three-phase system such that each has its current coils in a line and
the voltage coils connected from line to line. Show that the method is general and the total
power is the sum of two wattmeter readings.

7] From the dc magnetization curve given below, it is possible to calculate the relative
permeability

for M-5 electrical steel as a function of the ux level . Assuming the core of the gure
below to be made of M-5 electrical steel with the dimensions as follow:
