Somalia Verbal Affiliation.

All Somalis speak Somali, the


sanctioned language. In the Afro- Asiatic family of languages,
Somali is an Eastern Cushitic language. Somali didn't come a
written language until January 1973. Common Somali is the
most vastly spoken shoptalk, but Coastal Somali and Central
Somali also are spoken. Somalis constantly use wordplay and
humor in everyday communication. Other symbols of Somalia
are the five-pointed white star on the Somali flag and the
crescent, which represents the new moon and is a universal
symbol of the Islamic faith.

Arabic, the language of the Qur' an, is spoken and read for
religious purposes. A small chance of Somalis also speak Italian,
and a growing number speak English. Educated immature
grown- ups from well- to- do collaborative families may speak
five or further languages. Symbolism. The most vastly honored
