Daily Routine - What To Do Everyday

Daily Routines are high value things you should do daily in Story of Seasons
Pioneers of Olive Town (PoOT). Guide includes daily activities, farming, talking
to villagers, stamina and more.

Recommended Things To Do Everyday

① ▼Take care of crops & plants

② ▼Talk to villagers

③ ▼Make sure your Makers are producing items

④ ▼Spend leftover stamina on mining

Check Crops & Plants

Your Crops will be your main source of gold. Prioritize taking care of

your farming so that you can maximize your gold income. Also, don't
forget to buy extra seeds from Flower shops & General Stores to
expand your farm constantly.

Don't Neglect Animals

Your Animals will also provide valuable products such
as Eggs, Milk & Wool. They'll become unhappy if you neglect them,
which lowers productivity, so make sure to take care of and give them
your love after your finish with the crops.

Daily Routine - Talk To Villagers

You can only speak to NPC villagers once a day to raise their

friendship with your character. If you're not in the mood to talk to all of
them, at least talk to the Bachelors & Bachelorettes.Daily Routine -
Have Makers Working At Full Capacity

Prioritize Lumber & Ingot Makers

Makers are auto-crafting machines that produce different materials for
you. Items like Lumber & Ingot are essential for your farm's growth,
but processing them takes time. You should aim to have at least these
types of makers running at full capacity all day.
How To Make Makers

Maker Unlock Materials Needed

Logging Lv. 2 Lumber ×20

Ingot Iron ore ×10

Mining Lv2
Maker Lumber ×10

To Craft Makers, you need to reach

certain Skills thresholds. Skills can be leveled up by doing things
related to that skills (cut trees for logging, breaking stones for
mining etc). Once you have the skill & the ingredients, craft makers
by pressing "X" and opening the menu.
Daily Routine - Spend Leftover Stamina On Mining

Go To Mines To Gather Ores & Gems

If you have any left over stamina near the end of the day, spend it
by mining down in the caves. Not only is , but you also have the
chance to get some gems for extra gold. However, don't overtax
yourself and watch your stamina carefully.

break apart, granting you ores and possibly gems in the process.
Players can go down mine levels by finding ladders. Descending down
gives the chance to find better quality ores.

Mining Level - How To Reach Mine Bottom Level Fast

Mine Level Progression Walkthrough

① Break rocks to find ladders

② Upgrade hammer as soon as possible

③ Increase your max stamina to mine longer

④ Bring food to recover stamina

⑤ Avoid Baddie (mole) attacks

⑥ Avoid pitfalls (you lose stamina upon falling)

Break Rocks to Find Ladder (Stairs)

To go down a level, find the ladder (stairs) located on each level.
Sometimes the ladder may be hidden beneath a rock, so crack rocks
open with your hammer to expose it.
Tips For Finding Ladders

■ Ladder don't spawn within 1 square of walls

■ New ladders don't appear one square around the ladder you just used
■ Ladder locations are somewhat the same for rooms of the same shape
└ Exceptions exists for deeper levels of Mines in Areas 2 & 3
└ Ladder locations change when a day passes
■ Break multiple rocks with charged attacks
■ Don't waste stamina trying to destroy every rock

Upgrade Your Hammer

By upgrading your Hammer at the Tool Shop, you'll get better damage

per hit and a wider damage area for your charged attacks. Gather
materials and money for upgrades so you can explore more for less
stamina!

Increase Max Stamina For Longer Mining

It's important that you increase your stamina cap to go on longer
mining expeditions. For a quick temporary buff, eat a salad dish for an
increase in max stamina.

Bring Food To Recover Stamina Mid-Mining

If you leave the mine in the middle of mining and come back, you'll
need to start from Level 1 again. Bring food with you so you can
recover Stamina without returning. By upgrading your house to a Log
Cabin, you can cook food at your house.

Beware Of Baddie (Mole) Attacks

Starting from area 2, Baddie (moles) will randomly appear. When

Baddie burst out from the ground, they do an AOE shockwave attack
that drains stamina if you're hit. There are 3 types of Baddie with
different attack ranges and HP.

Avoid Pitfalls (Appear in Area 3 Mine)

In the area 3 mine, pitfalls will start appearing. If you fall, you'll go

down 1 ~ 10 levels while losing large amounts of stamina. However, if
you have plenty of stamina & food to spare, jumping down pitfalls may
be a more efficient way to go down levels.

them every day, your fieldwork skill should rise up and you'll be able to
craft the sprinkler. That way you don't have to water them individually.
Some Weathers Don't Need Watering
On rainy days, you don't have to water your crops, so you can just go
tend to them if they are ready to harvest, this also goes on snowy days
as well on the Winter Month.

Harvest The Crops

Once the craft has fully grown, to harvest them, get close and press Y
to collect the crops. Remember, the higher the quality, the higher the
amount will be paid to you in gold. So always remember to buy seeds
& plant.
Crop's Quality

With the Crop's Quality there is a chance that dishes will have a good
quality rating as well.

farmland is up to you, but we recommend planting in units of 3 so as
to make watering easier down the line.

If you want to make plowed land become normal land, simply strike it
with a hammer.

Plant Seeds / Seedlings & Wait For Harvest

Once the land is tilled, start planting seeds/seedling of your choice.

Best Farm Layout - Tips & Guide

Check out this guide for Best Farm Layout in Story of Seasons Pioneers of
Olive Town (PoOT). The Guide includes Best Farm Layout, how to set up your
farm, tips & more.

Best Farm Layout - Setting Up Your Farm

How To Setup Your Farm

Setting up your farm can be a chore, but in the end it can all be worth
it. Once you get a look at the farm's layout, you'd be able to decide
which goes there & which doesn't it just takes a lot of time & decision
making.

est Farm Layout - Best Setup

Setting Up Your Farm

For setting up your farm, always remember to put up crops, plant fruit
trees & spread spores on the mushroom log. Since these crops will be
part of your income for gold.
Click Here For Crop Quality Guides!

Putting Up The Well Next To Your Crops

The Well Is Your Friend

Since it's one of the essentials to water your plants everyday, I would
recommend that you put a well close so that in case if you ran out of
water, you just scoop up one and fill your watering can with ease and
start watering the remaining crops.

Putting Up Sprinklers
For such Areas like Area 2 & Area 3, We recommend that you install
a Sprinkler that should water 3x3 of your crops or if you have 5x5 you
can install an Enhanced Sprinkler. If you don't visit those quite often.

Setting Up More Seed Makers

Seed Makers Saves You Gold

Seed Makers give off seeds of the crops you put on it, which can be a
choice for you not to purchase seeds in the General Store. It's best
that 4 to 5 of Seed Makers are on your farm so if you have the Giant
Seed Makers it can also be a great advantage.

Chest Storage Locations

For Chest storage, it's better that you set them up on every area of the
farm so if your Bag inventory got full, you can store those items there
for safekeeping, maybe 4 to 5 Chests would do.

Farm Layout - Maintenance & Other Setup

Adding Roads To Prevent Random Spawn

Setting up roads on your farm will make your farm beautiful and It
should lessen the spawn in your farm like grass, stones & trees.
