Reflection #1: MY LEARNING STYLE

Have you ever viewed your preferred learning style? Each individual may
have their own unique perspective. The visual, auditory, and physical learning
styles are the three types of learning styles. I had a good idea of what kind of
learner I was because I’ve always had a strong preference for visual learning. It is
critical, in my opinion to students to determine their learning style. We need to
know about it. How I learned at school and at home, what my most difficult and
easiest tasks are, and how I can improve achieve success in school. When I learn
something at school or at home, I usually concentrate on the visible aspects. That
I can read or watch For example, in school, I always try to sit in front of a teacher
and try to understand what they are saying. Because it is simple to pay attention
to the teacher’s lecture or visual things like a clock. Taking notes is another
important aspect of my learning style. It is extremely important to me. I always
take notes with highlighters during lectures, circling and underlining words. Even
if the subject is difficult to grasp or understand, I can easily comprehend and
remember it once I take notes in my own style. For me, it is extremely effective.

As a visual learner, I have some tasks that are more difficult than others. For
me, finding my way around without a map is difficult. I was lost on a strange
street and asked for directions. He simply explained with only spoken directions
how to find the place I’m looking , but I was unable to locate it. So I tried the
Google map and finally I was able to get it. Another difficult task for me is
memorizing , For example my Grand mother told me to buy something in the
market but I forgot to write it the next things is I will forget to buy it. I am very
aware of my learning style and how to effectively use it, and I intend to maintain
it. Including sitting in front of a teacher, taking my own notes, concentrating on
textbooks, and maintaining a high level of concentration.
In Conclusion, I wondered why there are some honor students and slow
students in the same classes. We learn the same things from the same subjects
and lectures. I think this is because most slow students do not know what kind of
learner they are and how to use their learning styles. This problem Isn’t not about
how smart we are. Most students may have some difficulties when they learn
something because use they do not know how to study and make their own
learning style. We need to know what kind of learning style is suitable for
ourselves. I would not say what kind of learner is the best because Each person
has their own different personality and style so all kinds of learning styles can be
the best way to learn something. I think the most important point is finding our
own learning style and using that very well in our lives.
