Recollect a memorable incident in your life when you were able to hear and respond
obediently to the call of God to act out on that particular situation or circumstance.
- I remember being overwhelmed by God's call on my life. Because of some
misunderstandings, our worship leader walked out as we were preparing for our Sunday
service. We were really taken aback. We were at a loss for what to do following that
occurrence. After that, I was the one who had to replace her, and I had no idea what to do
because our Pastor had told me that I had to stand on the altar on Sunday. That time had
caught me off guard. But it was successful because God touched me and anointed my
heart.
2. What (sometimes) blocks you from hearing and eventually not responding righteously to
what God asks you to do or to where God calls you?
- What blocks me sometimes are my anxiety and doubt. I have a very low confidence in
myself. I am afraid of people judging me on how I look. I think of others' opinions rather
than myself. I sometimes believe in my own capabilities.
