Emerging Trends in Electronics (ETE 22636)

 Title Of Micro Project:

Prepare a report on electronic home security system.

 Brief Introduction:
 Security includes both the security hardware placed on a property and
individuals' personal security practices.
 Electronic Security refers to any electronic equipment that could perform
security operations like surveillance, access control, alarming or an
intrusion control to a facility or an area, which uses a power from mains
and a power backup like battery etc.
 Security alarm helps you to protect your house from thieves.
 A basic motion-sensing alarm that detects when someone enters the
area and when an intruder is detected, it activates a siren.

 Aim Of Micro Project:

To prepare a report on electronic home security system..

 Course Outcomes Achieved

The motion sensing alarm system can be easily employable for security
purposes at banks, various offices and even for sensitive establishments such
as for military.

 Literature Review: -
Now a day's people are going through many problems related to security of
systems, so security is the most important thing nowadays. In this paper, we
try to mention all study related to the security system, basically the system
which related to the door lock and main entrance of buildings, which is helpful
to prevent an issue like robbery. In past years, the research is gone on
different door lock security systems like systems which provide indications of
the buzzer. Due to the modern technology, some door lock security systems
are based on Arduino, raspberry, the microcontroller also with subcomponent
like GPS, GSM, RFID, face scanning, biometric scanning etc.

 Proposed Methodology:
 Discussion of the topic of the micro-project with the teacher.
 Discussion with all the team members and assigning jobs
 Collecting data and information required for making of the micro-project.
 Preparing the micro-project.
 Preparing the reports of the micro-project.
 Going through the micro-project once again.
 Submitting the project to the teacher.

 Identified the information suggesting the cause of the problem and possible
solutions.
 Prepared project proposals before starting of the project.
 Analyzed the collected data to generate useful information from it.

 Applications of the Micro-Project:

o This type of motion sensing alarm system can be easily employable
for security purposes at banks, various offices and even for sensitive
establishments such as for military. We can easily set up this system
for household purposes.
o This Gadget helps you to protect your house from thieves.

o The given system sets off a powerful buzzer, and it is effective as

any other alarm system available in the market.
