The document describes a vibration monitor card scale verification test conducted on the K221B turbine gas compressor unit located at the SARIR OIL FIELD Gas Traetment Plant. Using a DPI 880 function generator, increasing voltages from 200mv to 1000mv peak-to-peak were injected into the proximity sensor output and the corresponding monitor readings were recorded and verified against the monitor scale factor in a table.

BENTLY NEVADA vibration monitor card scale verification test
Location: SARIR OIL FIELD
Plant : GAS TRAETMENT PLANT
Unit : K221B turbine gas compressor
Tool: using DPI 880 Function generator
Procedures:-
1. verify proximity sensor connectors are tightened properly
2. proximity probe should be installed on the machine properly and the gap voltage should be aligned at (-9VDC) at center of linear scale 3. connect DPI 880 function generator in series with the output of the proximity sensor to the monitor card 4. inject (200mv p.p) from DPI880 function generator and record monitor reading in the control room 5. increase voltage by (200mv p.p) every time for five times and record monitor reading in the control room 6. verify the reading with scale factor of the monitor 7. fill out the table as per indication on monitor 8. carry out previous steps on all loops
