How are firewalls and VPNs used in your organizations? What are the successes
and areas of concern regarding their implementation?

1. Create a description of your institution/ company network based on the

information given. If you need assumptions, do so and state them in your
description.

- Since we are not implementing firewall and VPN in our institution, made
an assumption that maybe implemented in the near future
2. Create a list of the organization’s information assets.
- The most important information assets of our organization are the
students’ information (Personal information, grades) and employees’
profile.
3. Create a list of the threats that your network faces.
- The following are the possible threats of our institution may
encounter:
 Identity theft
 Not only are cybercriminals a threat, but so are scammers, who are
on the rise nowadays.
 Malware
 Social engineering
 Spam and Phishing
