Personal Statement for MSc Computer Science (Network

Engineering) in Greenwich University, London.


The University of Greenwich is well-known due to its antique existence and for its high teaching
quality, the diversity of its students, research excellence, it’s amazing and beautiful historic
campuses in South-East London and Kent and its high student satisfaction. The Greenwich
University has been ranked in top 7% universities across the world and it is among top 100
universities in the United Kingdom. Its location is also on best spot as it lies in almost heart of
London along the Famous River Thames.
I always dreamed to become a Computer Scientist. A dream that became true slowly over the
years. I remember in school days I had great interest in Mathematics and Computing which
showed me the way of this field. I can always remember the feeling of wanting to know just why
computers worked, how they worked and what else they could do. I am using computer when I
was just 4 years old, just for playing games and that interest in computer started to develop to
know more about this amazing machine (Computers). After school I studied pre-engineering
subjects and then went for graduation in the field of Software Engineering. In Software
Engineering, I studied many modules and completed term projects and Final Year Project under
the Department of Computing and IT which helped me a lot to understand many concepts of
Computer Science.
In my Bachelor Graduation, my subject area was Software Engineering and I studied lot of
modules, courses and completed many Projects. These things developed my interest to study
further in the areas of Computer Science and I was looking for a good institute across the world
to start my Postgraduate study, which I founded in the shape of MSc Computer Science
(Network Engineering) in Greenwich University, with excellent course modules. Moreover, this
field provides a lot of advanced knowledge regarding designing, developing, and testing a wide
range of software and network systems. Finally, the most important thing to choose this
university is the facility of One Year Degree Program which will help me a lot to complete my
studies soon and search for a good job.
In Future, this course will greatly help me to provide skills to critically analyze and evaluate
future computer and network systems in depth by studying master’s degree. As we know that
future is all about computers. Computer Science Degrees are most popular study program
worldwide. By studying this course, I want to gain transferable IT and Computing skills for my
successful career and contribute my efforts for the solutions of most emerging problems field of
computer science in my own country and worldwide. I am really looking forward to the personal
and academic challenges that studying for a Computer Science degree at your university will
bring. I would be grateful if you can consider my candidature favorably for admission.
