Active an Event Alert

Responsibility = Alert Manager, Vision Enterprises

1. Navigate to the Alert window

 (N) Alert > Define

2. Query the ADS New Supplier Workflow alert

 Application = Purchasing
 Name = ADS New Supplier Workflow
 After Insert = Checked
 Enabled = Checked

3. Save

4. (B) Actions

5. (B) Action Details

6. Note that the SQL statement starts a workflow process

7. Close windows until you are back at the Navigator

Enter a New Supplier

8. Responsibility = Purchasing, Vision Operations

9. Navigate to the Suppliers window

 (N) Supply Base > Suppliers

10. Create a supplier

 Supplier Name = XXNewSupplier

11. Save

12. Close windows until you are back at the Navigator

View the Concurrent Request

13. Responsibility = System Administrator

14. Navigate to the standard request submission form

 (N) Concurrent > Requests

15. Note that the standard request submission form is in system administrator mode.
