    As part of the OTD curriculum Rush students are required to attend and become knowledgeable
    in approaches to Harm Reduction and evidence-based approaches being used in occupational
    therapy when working with people experiencing homelessness. The Rush Street OT students
    participated in both an overview of Harm Reduction approaches as well as Naloxone (Narcan)
    Training by certified Trainer and The Night Ministry’s Substance Use Counselor Yoela Tepper.
    The OTD Students/participants are knowledgeable and certified to administer Naloxone
    (Narcan) because of this training.
