A fraction is a number
• Ένα κλάσμα μπορεί να δείχνει το μέρος μιας μονάδας (εδώ μονάδα είναι η σημαία).
A fraction indicates the part of a unit (in this case the unit is the whole flag)
• Ο παρονομαστής ονομάζει σε πόσα μέρη χωρίστηκε δίκαια ένα ολόκληρο.
The denominator indicates in how many parts a whole can be divided equally.
• Ο αριθμητής μετράει (αριθμεί) πόσα από αυτά τα μέρη μας ενδιαφέρουν.
The numerator counts how many of these parts we are interested in.
