General Procedures

Adjustment of Car Window Glass

ATTENTION: This operation is for the
left front door glass, other adjustment
method of glass is similar to it.
1. Remove the front door interior trimming
board.
Please refer to section 501-05.
2. Raise the glass to the half height.
This is convenient for subsequent adjustment.
3. Unscrew the two fixed bolts on the glass of
window lifter.

4. Adjust the glass position, then screw down

the glass fixed bolts.

Removal
ATTENTION: The removal and installation
of windshield require more than one
mechanics to complete.
1. Remove the windshield wipers arm

sealant when installing the glass, do not
use mixed sealant of different brands.

installation.
2. Install windshield check block.
3. Clean the windshield.
4. Smear the sealant on the windshield
installing slot, and make the smeared sealant
form a smooth and continuous glue joint.

ATTENTION: Use high-efficient, electric

or battery-driven sealing glue gun would
make glue hitting work become simple,
and is good for forming a continuous glue
joint.
5. Install the windshield.

Front Door Glass

Removal and Installation 4. Remove the two fixed bolts of glass and

1. Remove the door interior trimming board.
Please refer to section 501-05.
2. Remove the door windows.
Please refer to this section.
3. Disconnect the wiring harness connector of
lifter motor.

4.Remove glass lifter.

Remove the 6 fixed bolts of glass lifter.

5. For installation, reverse the removal

procedures.
