Access Test Mode
Within 3 seconds after power on, press Time Adjust and Chime
buttons simultaneously. When the unit is in test mode, the screen
shows "St".

CAUTION
Before entering the test mode, empty the dryer and close the dryer
door. Make sure that all the parts are in their original positions.

1. Press Time Adjust again, screen shows “01", after 0.5s, the
screen shows the software version.
2. After 3s, screen shows “02", turn the knob to right or left to
check it. Every time you turn the knob, the state light L1
changes accordingly, the light turns on or off.
3. Press Time Adjust again, screen shows “03", unit goes into key
checking mode:
-Press Favorite 1, screen shows “11", L2 light up;
-Press Favorite 2, screen shows “22", L3 light up;
-Press Delay, screen shows “33", L4 light up;
-Press Dryness, screen shows “44", L5 light up;
-Press Temp, screen shows “55", L6 light up;
-Press Chime, screen shows “66";

-Press Wrinkle Release, screen shows “77";


-Press START/PAUSE, screen shows “88";
-Press POWER, screen shows “99".
4. Press Time Adjust again, screen shows “04", to test NTC
(Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistor. If there is any NTC
error, fault code "E5" is displayed, or the screen shows current
temperature.
5. Press Time Adjust again, screen shows “05", which indicates
that the unit operates normally.
6. Press Time Adjust again, screen shows “Ed”, which indicates
that the test modes ended.

Troubleshooting Tests

Dryer does not start or run


Perform the following checks in given order to identify the issue.
If fault found in any step, repair it:
1. Check if all wires are connected to their corresponding
terminals.
2. Check if dryer is plugged in.
3. Look for any blown fuse or circuit breaker.
4. Check if door switch is functional when door is closed.
5. Check if Star/Pause button and rotary selector dial are
functional.
6. Check if main PCB is functional.
7. Check if belt is slipped off or broken, or belt safety switch is
functional.

Not drying (gas model) - Poor gas ignition

When dryer is operated in a heat setting, the igniter is energized


at 120 VAC and flame appears in the burner within 45 seconds.
Failure of any component in this system is usually indicated by
one of the three symptoms given below:

1) Igniter does not spark


Turn off power supply.
Using an ohmmeter, check the following.

2) Igniter sparks but no gas ignition

Turn off power supply.


Using an ohmmeter, check the following:

Does wiring show continuity? No Replace harness.

Yes

Does flame switch show continuity?


No

Replace flame switch.

3) Gas ignited but flame goes off


If a normal ignition takes place and after a short while the flame
goes out, check the following:
