To be Vaxxed, To be Responsibly Safe

Guided by what I heard and read from other people and the news; I made the decision to be
vaccinated. I am aware that vaccines will keep me and my family safe and protected from
communicable diseases, which is why I support and advocate their use. I am also aware that
getting vaccinated does not guarantee that I will be immune to covid, but it will aid our
healthcare system in its fight against the virus, as well as reduce the likelihood of pain and death.
I also don't want to become a carrier of the virus. So as soon as the vaccination campaign began,
I immediately went to the nearest vaccination site, which we are extremely grateful for because it
is close by and one of the largest, with 5,000-6,000 people inoculated there every day, and we
are grateful for that as well. I quickly registered my entire family, except for my younger brother,
who is under the age of majority; fortunately, he can now get vaccinated as well.
My first dose did not have any severe side effects; however, my arm where I received the
vaccine felt heavy and it hurt to move, but this only lasted overnight because when I woke up it
did not hurt anymore; I even spent the entire night playing computer games. However, my
second dose did have severe side effects; I developed a fever, a headache, and my arms were
extremely painful for two days after receiving the vaccine. I couldn't move my body that day, so
I went to bed as soon as I could because I wasn't feeling good at all. As of right now, I'm
completely recovered and grateful. However, I was concerned about those who, for example, do
not want to be vaccinated, such as homeless people.
I believe that everyone feels responsible and obligated to get vaccinated because they do not
want to be a host and spread the disease to their loved ones. It is for this reason that they are
given a vaccine. However, some people simply desire vaccination to be able to travel anywhere,
as vaccination is required when entering and exiting a country or city. Others simply desire
vaccination to be able to travel anywhere, as vaccination is required when leaving and entering a
country or city.
