Respectfully, Madam or Sir

After going through the course catalog provided on your website, I saw the course Information
and Communication Technology is very much aligned with my professional and academic
interests. Looking at the current research work at Erlangen University, engineers and
information scientists are working on a joint research project such as securing vehicle
communication. This research work is closely related to my field of interest and therefore I am
very much confident, that becoming a part of this research project, will help me to boost my
professional potential and gain the necessary knowledge. This master's degree will enable me to
pursue my career in Research & Development (R&D) which is the main motivating factor. It will
also set paths for me to expand my research work and will also open doors for doing Ph.D.
degree. Doing a master’s degree at one of the leading research universities in Germany will help
me in building sufficient research skills. This degree will enable me to further enhance my skills
and thus enabling me to contribute to society’s productivity either by educating future engineers
or by incrementing a technical skilled engineer in the IT and Communication sector

I earned a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from Quaid-e-Awam University College

of Engineering, Science & Technology, Pakistan. during these four years I grew myself to a
great extent not only in theoretical but also in practical knowledge of Power Electronics and
converter topologies, Electrical Machines, and Drives, Power System Analysis, Power system
operation, and control, and power system protection. Amid my ponders particularly I advanced a
clear understanding of Introduction to Computing and Programming and it has given me the
confidence to assert and contest my opinions regarding Programming. My thesis at the
Bachelor's level was about "Electrical vehicle power supplies & its technical solutions". In that,
we found many Problems in energy supplies and suggested different solutions to overcome that
problems.

Apart from the theoretical knowledge, I have experience working as an intern at PCSIR
Laboratory, where I believe I got to learn a lot practical about Transformers & power in ( stand
by generator) Transmission & Distribution and Ac motors, panel board(supply chain) as an
intern. After completing my bachelor's degree, I had an opportunity to work as a Design
Engineer in a private Solar Engineering Consultancy Known as Mesol solar limited. This job
widened my knowledge and provided me with an opportunity to work with experts in the field.
During this time, I have been involved in installing different solar projects and also took up the
job as a Lab Engineer (Intern) at NED University of Engineering and Technology where I
worked on different lab operations, which helped me in enhancing my educational skills after
completing my bachelor

There are four reasons I would like to be a part of this program. Firstly, the technology and
Higher education sectors here in Pakistan are still in the developing stages, so if I learn in an
already developed country that will surely be a plus point for my future goals. Secondly, I am
confident that this master's program would be highly beneficial, as the international experience
will provide an opportunity to work on a big scale for international companies, which are
involved in the technology sectors. Thirdly, I am confident that the courses in this program
match perfectly with my professional areas of interest. And lastly, I want to be the part of a team
that is striving for the innovation and development of technology for the betterment of the
community

I believe with my studies and work I have a solid foundation, but through this master's program,
I hope to develop expertise and boost my career prospects. Thank you for considering my
