CURRICULUM
IMPLEMENTATION
Mapiῆa Elementary School Has achieved to distribute 1:1 modules to
all their pupils last year up to this year. The school has provided the
teachers with their needed resources to suffice the modules distributed
by the Division Office.
The school head, Mr. Tumblod, has been very particular with the
modules released by the teachers. Close monitoring and regular follow
up is conducted especially with the development of Learning Activity
Sheets used for remediation.
Teachers were encouraged by the school head to closely monitor
their pupils. Home visitations and frequent follow up through chat, text,
or letters were done by the teachers to let their pupils know that they
are always there to assist them with their learning needs.
Slow and non readers were given attention for this school year
especially for the K to 3 pupils. The principal immediately asked the
teachers to conduct reading assessment to their pupils at the
beginning of the school year. The results of this assessment were then
used ton identify the pupils who need help in reading. They were given
focus and were scheduled for face to face meetings with their
teachers.
The school has participated on the integration of RBI for this
modality. Teachers were encouraged to be broadcasters.

The parents were then oriented of how RBI works and were
informed of the schedule of each grade level and subject.

Assessment results show great improvement with the

integration of RBI to modular modality.
Strict implementation of IATF Protocols were followed. Wearing of face
masks, social distancing, alcohol sanitizing areas, one way entrance
and exits, and bringing of own pens were some of the practices strictly
followed to avoid risk of COVID. The teachers have agreed that
parents who don’t follow protocols shall not be entertained.
In partnership with CDRRMO, the school conducts regular disinfection
in all the classrooms and offices. The CDRRMO has committed to
come to school every month to disinfect. Seeing this makes the
community and school personnel feel safe coming to school.
Signages were posted in every area to
remind the parents of the protocols.
Brochures were also distributed to
orient the parents of the new normal for
this school year.
Barriers were installed in every classroom to prevent the parents in
going inside the rooms and get together. This also protects the
teachers inside the classroom from risk of exposure.
All school personnel- school head, teachers,
clerk, and aides- were now fully vaccinated.
This will keep everyone protected from the risk
of getting morbid COVID Symptoms. They also
served as models and encouraged some
parents to get vaccinated to keep them safe
and protected.
Group handwashing facilities were newly constructed for
additional sanitation of everyone who comes inside the
school. Every handwashing facility is provided with hand
soaps to prevent germs from spreading.
A new school clinic is also constructed. Health is
prioritized for this school year for the school to be ready
for face to face classes. The clinic aims to provide first aid
to any illness or injuries.
During the monitoring, SDS
and other PSDSs suggested
that railings were to be
installed on the stairs to
ensure safety of pupils.
These railings will protect
everyone from falling on the
slippery and high stairs.
Painting of walls, classroom repairs, cleaning of
surroundings, and building of this waterfall model that
replicated the Ubo Falls of the barangay, were some of
the projects for this school year. This is to add to the
aesthetic beauty of the school.
LGU and other stakeholders were always a call away to
serve our school. The pictures show some of the
stakeholders who made a huge difference to the school
for this year.
