A drive of 8 hours will land you in Srinagar.

 DAY 2–SRINAGAR TO GULMARG
A warm cup of tea with delicious breakfast should get you ready for the day of activity. Leave from
your houseboat refreshed and satiated with your breakfast and move towards Gulmarg. Gulmarg is
at a travel distance of 40 Km from the Srinagar city which is to be covered in an hour. We could
halt at Tangmarg for a cup of coffee and relax our muscles. In winter Gulmarg looks more beautiful
due to heavy snow fall. And turns into India's premier Ski resort in winter.
The major locations to be covered are Golf Club, Strawberry Valley, Nageen Valley and Maharaja
Palace. The Gondola Cable Car (optional) offers rides to the upland meadows of Kongdori and
beyond to the top of Affarwat range to a height of 14000 ft for viewing the Himalayan Peaks in
summer and for downhill skiing in winter. One can have Gondola ride (cable car directly payable)
from Gulmarg to Khilanmarg . Overnight in hotel in Srinagar.

Enjoy your early breakfast and freshen up for a day of adventure and sightseeing.
Your personalized chauffer will drive you to Sonmarg. A drive of 2 hours will land you
in Sonmarg, famous for glaciers and trekking.
Check in your hotel, get refreshed and move towards Thajwas glacier.
You will have to use ponies to reach the glacier.
You should also visit fish point in sonmarg for a small boat ride and zorbing ball.
If you have a nick for water and heights then white water rafting and trekking is a must
in sonmarg.
