How to install & use fonts in

CRICUT design space

This guide is for you and it will help you to install
and add fonts to CRICUT Design Space.
No doubt, that your used to using "SVG fonts" in
Design Space and it's complicating because you
need to copy and paste, also drop or drag each
letter into your project. Taking into consideration all
of that ,we offer to you Design Space, that has a lot
of updates and it's making it much more easier for
you to use your purchased fonts. I have added some
screenshots that you can have a look at this
process.

 Step 1
NOTE: If you want to use the fonts in Design Space , first of all you will
need to install them to your computer and do not try to upload them
directly to Cricut, you will get an "unsupported" format error.

WINDOWS
1) Unzip folder that you downloaded .
2) You need to go to the folder with the fonts and
search for the .OTF or .TTF file.
3) Click twice on the font , the way when you are
opening an application.
4) So you need to click , install and wait till it's done.
That's all you need!
Now you have installed your font.

MAC
1) Unzip folder that you downloaded .
2) First of all , go to the folder with the fonts and
click twice on either .OTF or .TTF font file
3)So , after you got to click twice, a window will
open with a preview of the font and small button at
the bottom with saying " install".
Firther click Install and that's it ! You have installed
your font. If in case your thinking to use the font in
an application, please make sure, first close the
application totally and then start it again after you
installed a new font. You can't see the font
otherwise, despite you installed the font properly.

Use in Design Space

If you want to use your font in Cricut Design Space
,actually it's very simple! I advice you to open your
project and then Click the "Text" button in order to
start adding your text.
Start from typing your word or any phrase, you
have to make sure that the text is selected and then
click on the Font dropdown Menu. After that, you
will see that the menu will appear and your able to
choose the font you wish to use. You can search for
the name of the font in the Menu.
