ACADEMIC INTEGRITY
This semester is during a period of “New Normal” situation due to the pandemic.
Students are very much on their own with little teacher supervision of learning. As such,
they must practice honesty, particularly during quizzes and in written outputs.
Classes will be held through the internet using Google Classroom and a limited
class size F2F during the difficult topics’ discussion. Students must be careful in encoding
answers to quizzes and written outputs, which will be in Google Forms or Quizziz App and
Actual Test Questions.
This course is designed to be both synchronous and non-synchronous and
therefore has face-to-face or live-streaming sessions. We will use Google Meet for
synchronous sessions. All enrolled students shall acquire and submit official Gmail
accounts with clearly spelled names, not aliases, pseudonym nor abbreviation, together
with a Gmail account of parents or official guardian who shall be notified of all your
activities and assessment grades.
Weekly files for learning activities shall be announced at the class Facebook
Messenger group chat and can be downloaded from Google Classroom (if online). Those
with poor resources for wifi signals can have the files copied for them from their nearest
classmate who has them.
Weekly deadlines for submitting encoded or filled-in forms for quizzes or learning
assessments shall be sent on a schedule, such that it will have a time-stamped when
received by Google Forms for validating, checking, grading, and securely recorded (for
online) and at the school office for F2F. Late submission will no longer be accepted.
I hope that everyone including myself will be able to adjust to this “new normal” way
of learning and get the most under the circumstances.
Thank you.
