Hello I am Jeriel Ivan Don Espenorio, a graduate of BS Computer Engineering.

I worked at Trinet
Multimedia System Corporation while I was a student for a year as a Jr. Network Engineer. I may not be
one of the best student out there, who failed College Algebra & Advance Eng’g Math. I completed a
number of training courses regarding with my field of expertise from Network Administration in
Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, CCNA Exploration: Networking Fundamentals,
Routing Protocols & Concepts, LAN Switching and Wireless in Cebu International of Education, MCP:
Managing and Maintaining Windows servers 2003, Planning, Implementing, and Network Infrastructure
in ACE 1 Cebu City, Certified Secure Computer User an entry level of cyber security in COC Phinma
Cagayan De Oro. My Job there in Trinet Multimedia System Corporation start from entry level where we
instruct us to do cabling at least 100 cables per day and provided us with cable tester. Of course the
cable should be working wether it is a UTP, STP, Fiber Optic or Coaxial cables.

After we have completed our task, we categorize the components of the computers that are
operational and those that are not. They have at least 500 computers per week before they are going to
deploy in the BPO industry. Finally, after a few months of doing the routine tasks, the supervisor
introduce us that there are several components in the server racks or U racks, with the product names
as far as I can remember there are Huawei 3coms, Juniper, Sun microsystems, Cisco, and Avaya.

Together with the newly recruited IT people, completed the work by installing the components;
we did not have the opportunity to configure because only the authorized person could do so since
servers, routers, and switches are very expensive; instead, We could only watch what the supervisor was
doing, hoping to pick up some programming skills. One day, the supervisor brought us to the site to
configure one of the parabolic antennas by altering the angle and change the batteries. We had no idea
what to do because we were watching him, and I was caught off guard and clueless. The next thing I
know, the newest IT people should be climbing the tower, adjusting the antenna's angle, and replacing
the batteries. Because of the height, my knees were trembling and shaking while strapped into the
harness.

To make the story short it was an unforgettable experience that I will never repeat.

Then graduation came to finish my studies and apply as an IT Staff Administrator / Helpdesk
Administrator Tier 2 or Level 2 by LWS Media Philippines Inc. an American Company base in Cebu
Branch it is a entry level job in the BPO industry where I was introduced to the team about their
different culture, rules, and policies in the call center industry. They trained me how to use the MRTG to
monitor the traffic loads in network links, and we had to assist non voice call center agents, installing
their applications and software, as well as monitoring and maintain the FIVE9 Client and SUPERVISOR for
inbound/outbound support for call center agents., solving the problems as per request tickets, assist tier
1 IT Staff, and summary reports tasks. Despite working in the sector, one drawback is that I am
spiritually weak. So I left my job as an IT Staff Administrator and moved to Thailand where my mother
works hoping to have a slot in our institution EIS/Ekamai International School but they are not hiring for
IT. So I jumped at the change to work for the Aspire Group of Companies in Thailand, where they offered
me such a position.

However, circumstances happen and tragedy came all of Thailand’s provinces were submerged
except for Bangkok. So I spent a few months doing sideline repairing laptops, computers, building my
own NAS. After a few months I chose to return to the Philippines and ISLTEchXpert Unlimited
Corporation hired me as an IT Business Solution Consultant where my responsibilities performing
technical analysis and feasibility studies of each clients. Another duty is to test the software application
they created and I will produce documentation and examine the program code and instructions. For a
year, I worked as and IT Business Solution Consultant. And moved to the southern part of the Philippines
which is Mindanao to become a farmer. But it got to the point where I couldn’t see myself working in
our institution. I never attempted to work in a Seventh day Adventist organization before, how it feels or
how it works. To make the story short I pray to God and then boom! It was year 2016 where I got hired
by Mountain View College as a sub teacher for College and a teacher in Junior HighSchool the same year
where I meet my wife in MVC who is also a teacher in the Academy. What distinguishes working at MVC
from other schools that are not SDA’s. Teachers and Professors used to embed IFL or Integrated Faith
Learning, into every topic which we taught and we are not just training them to be professionals, but
also to be missionaries someday. As a teacher the students must bring the light to their homes and
workplaces. Wherever they will go. As MVC Motto says “Shine on Till Jesus Comes.” And That’s me!
