Study project requisite and prepare the necessary documents/details supporting project. Should be
able to prepare the P&M budget for project and monitor the cost.
MIS report to HO/RO as per SOP.
Coordination with project team for the deployment schedule of assets required for execution as per
project schedule and communicate to RO team for deployment.
Commissioning and Maintenance & Repairs of equipment deployed at site.
Maintain minimum stock of maintenance spares, lubricants and consumables.
Initiate the process for disposal of asset based on the technical evaluation report.
Ensure the compliance with respect to ISO 9001, ISO 140001 and ISO 45001 standards.
Conduct training for technician and P&M staff for safe operation of equipment. Should be aware about
the safety accessories required for construction equipment.
Certify the invoice of equipment purchased at site.
Check and certify the measurement book for Hired equipment working at site.
Key accountabilities
Provide leadership, direction and coaching to the Operations team, including direct reports and a large team of
indirect reports including our frontline operational employees
Lead by example in the execution of safe work practices and ensure compliance with OHS&E statutory
requirements.
Maximise operational productivity, achieving or exceeding performance and customer satisfaction targets across
specific targets for the container terminal business.
Ensure we meet or exceed budget targets for labour costs
Deliver continuous improvement in productivity, cost and service targets for our customers.
Promote employee engagement and positive workforce culture through a range of initiatives and proactive
communication
Support accountability for performance by ensuring our workforce keeps to high standards of conduct and output at
all times.
Experience, skills and qualifications
Strong leadership experience in large scale 24x7 operations
Outstanding leadership skills and the ability to motivate, develop and encourage staff to positively contribute to
business goals and objectives.
Industrial relations management experience in heavily unionised blue-collar environments
Ability to engage with and foster strong relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders
Ability to understand customer obligations
Sound understanding of budgets and managing costs and expenses
Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral
High level of computer literacy, competent in the use of Terminal Operating Systems and Microsoft Office
Must be eligible for a Maritime Security Identification Card.
Tertiary qualifications within business, engineering, logistics or other relevant fields or equivalent experience is
highly regarded.
