SCP-356: The Purple Man

Special Containment Procedures: SCP-356 is maintained at Site 20, 4km underground. Every wall of the
facility must be in pure iron, and after incident n°4, no doors must lead inside SCP-356’s room. SCP-356
is in a 4mx4m room, in total darkness and the temperature inside the room must always remain at more
than 40°C. A camera makes it possible to observe the SCP.

Description: SCP-356 appears as a tall humanoid figure, standing 2m tall and quite muscular. SCP-356’s
whole body is purple, while his eyes have been shown to constantly change color, every 5 years. It has
been also noted that each time SCP-356’s eyes change colors an important disaster happens in the
world. The object will also show itself hostile towards all lifeforms, showing signs of extreme strength
and superhuman speed, agility and resistance. Bullets are useless against SCP-356 since they do not
pierce its skin. The only way to make both the disasters and SCP-356’s aggressivity is to blindfold it. After
his eyes are covered, the object will remain still and will show to signs of aggressivity or hostility, letting
anybody approach it without moving an inch. After experiences, it has been noted that, while
blindfolded, SCP-356 develops some kind of telepathic power, allowing the object to control any
personnel 30m around him. Once controlled, the personnel must not interact with SCP-356 under any
circumstances, no matter the cause.

Even with the safety measures respected, SCP-356 has shown signs of random aggressivity at random
intervals.
