INT. CAVES - INTRODUCTION - NIGHT

LILITH runs with something in her arms covered by a cloth

while some demons follow her, the place is partially
dark, the dim lighting of the cave is given by torches
located on the walls.

EXT. CLIFF BOTTOM - NIGHT

She leaves the cave, stumbles and falls down a cliff, and
tightly hugs what she is carrying in her arms trying to
protect it.

EXT. ROCKY DESERT - NIGHT

When she finally stops rolling she gets up with a wounded

foot and starts her flight, the demons see her from the
top of the cliff they growl and get ready to reach her.
More demons come out of the surroundings to join the
hunt, Lilith keeps running, when she sees VIATRIX hidden
in the distance, who also sees Lilith fleeing they both
run.

Lilith stops running, grabs Viatrix by the arm and pulls

her.

LILITH
(desperate)
Please help me! They want to
kill my son and me too, I have
to protect him.

Lilith shows Viatrix her newborn son.

VIATRIX
Follow me!…

They begin to slow down because of Lilith's wound. The

demons are getting closer.

Lilith was exhausted and tired from the race and looking
at Viatrix.

LILITH
If the demons catch me, They´ll
kill my son and me.

Viatrix with her back to Lilith, looks towards the

horizon.
 VIATRIX
If they catch me they will
torture me to death. Coming back
is no option.

In off, in the caves of the demons, their screams can

still be heard like angry pigs.

EXT. DESERT - NIGHT

Already far away from the demons, a sandstorm is brewing

in front of them, both of them hasten their step before
being trapped.

Behind them, in the distance, a demon with a torch in his

hand is seen shouting and pointing in their direction,
signaling the other demons to capture the fugitives.

EXT. DESERT - NIGHT

They continue running and realize that the light of the

demonic territory does not reach now they have to
continue the run away in the middle of the darkness, also
escaping from the sandstorm. Suddenly, they both fall
down a hill of sand, Lilith hugs her son to protect him
from the fall. Reaching the end, Viatrix quickly picks up
Lilith so they can keep moving.

EXT. DESERT - NIGHT

They walk for a long time, apparently, the demons lost

sight of them. But the sandstorm is already trapping
them, the winds are so strong that all traces or
footprints left in the sand are erased, Viatrix speeds up
her pace and reaches a kind of stone which they must move
to enter.

LILITH
Where does this lead us?

VIATRIX
To our freedom… By the way, my
name is Viatrix.

LILITH
Lilith…and this is my little
boy, LUKE.

Lilith uncovers the cloth from Luke´s body and shows the
baby to Viatrix. Viatrix watches Luke, and slight smile
comes across her face.
Viatrix and Lilith, with great force, manage to move the
stone.

INT. CAVE - NIGHT

Lilith is the first to go down with the baby, Viatrix

follows her, they close the passageway. They walk through
the cave until they come out into the Aldurin Forest,
near the holy kingdom of Raziel.

EXT. FOREST - DAY

Aldurin is a forest like any other, full of trees and

lots of vegetation. Sunlight does not enter through the
thickness of the trees.

VIATRIX
(Moved)
Cool! We are close to a kingdom.
They will protect us, come on!

LILITH
Viatrix I can't go with you.
I'm not welcome in the kingdom
of Raziel.

Lilith looks with a sad expression.

LILITH (CONT'D)
Luke is the son of ASTAROTH.
A Duke of Hell.
If I go there, my baby will be
murdered.
I will not allow that!

VIATRIX
Wait… Like son of a devil?
It can not be possible.
A demon cannot have children
with a human.

Unless the human loves him too.

Lilith smiles and sheds a tear, at that moment the bells

of the kingdom ring.

Lilith immediately runs in the opposite direction from

the bells, limping.

VIATRIX
(confused)
Wait! Lilith! Where will you go?

LILITH
 I will protect my baby at all
costs.
I won't let anyone hurt him.

Lilith disappears into the thick of the forest as Viatrix

gazes into the distance.

FADE TO:

EXT. LILIT'S CABIN - DAY

On-screen text: 10 years later.

From afar you can see a cabin, solitary far from the
town.

INT. LILIT'S CABIN - DAY

It is very early and Lilith gets out of bed with her

little boy sleeping next to her, goes down to the kitchen
and prepares breakfast.

The scent goes upstairs and wakes up little Luke, the

smell of eggs at dawn sending him down running.

INT. LILIT'S KITCHEN - DAY

He heads to the kitchen, grabs the wooden plates they

have, and helps his mom set the table.

LILITH
(Smile)
Good morning sleepyhead.
How did you sleep?

LUKE
Good morning mom.

Luke looks at his mom with a roguish smile and looks

away.

Lilith is surprised and looks at Luke.

LILITH

Why are you so happy today?

Luke just looks at her and flashes another smile without

saying a single word.

Lilith smiles back and serves her son breakfast.

Luke, finishing breakfast, stares at his mom's plate with
desire.

LILITH
(faking it)
I am very full.
Luke, do you want more?

Luke looks at her confused.

LUKE
Can i mom?

LILITH
Of course! It's all yours

Luke eagerly eats his mother's breakfast while Lilith

covers her stomach so he won't hear that it's roaring
with hunger.

INT. LILIT'S CABIN - DAY

They are very poor, but they live in peace after

breakfast Luke puts on his old clothes and leaves the
house saying goodbye to his mother.

LUKE
(Smiling)
Mom! I'm going to Barclay's farm

Lilith looks at Luke, with some sadness in her eyes.

LUKE (CONT'D)
Mom, don't worry. Now I can't go
to school Because there is no
money, but it will come the time
to do it.

LILITH
But that's not the idea, every
day you have to go to work with
Barclay as a child as you are.

LUKE
(calm)
Mom, you know very well that all
Barclay wants is to help us.
Besides he is like my dad, I
love him very much and he loves
me too.

Luke, leaves down the road.

LILITH
(screams in the
distance)
 Don't be late, you know I don´t
like you walking home alone at
night!

LUKE
It's okay, don’t worry

EXT. ROAD - DAY

Luke walks down a path until he reaches Barclay's farm,

he has a sawmill just right by the mountain.

Barclay is preparing the wood.

EXT. BARCLAY SAWMILL - DAY

BARCLAY
(disapproving look)
Young man! You're late…

What's your excuse today?

LUKE
(smiles nervously)
Sorry Bar, I stayed helping my
mom at home.

Barclay approaches Luke pretending to be furious, raises

his hand and just ruffles his hair.

BARCLAY
(smile)
That's alright boy you have to
help your mother. After all you
are the only one she has, you
should take care of each other.

Luke smiling runs to the shed to get an ax to chop wood

while Barclay looks at him in the distance smiling and
shaking his head, then walks towards him.

EXT. ROAD - DAY

Lilith heads to the village in the opposite direction

from Barclay's farm.

EXT. ENTRANCE TO THE VILLAGE – DAY

In town, Lilith sees some white horses at the entrance

she is startled to see the symbol of the royal cavalry of
the kingdom of Azrael, the angel of death, which had been
following Lilith all these years without finding her.

LILITH (VOICE OFF)

(scared)
There they are, they keep
looking for me after all this
time.

EXT. ALTERNATE ENTRANCE TO THE VILLAGE - DAY

Lilith steps up her pace and turns away from the town's
main entrance; instead, she goes around it and enters
through an alternate route.

EXT. TOWN CENTER - DAY

She walks to the center of town and gets close enough to

hear what the knights are talking about to the commoners,
among them Captain DAGEN stands out.

DAGEN
I am a warrior loyal to Azrrael
and I come looking for answers
Listen! We are looking for a
woman… According to a testimony,
he escaped from a demon cave 10
years ago and it was seen
through the forest of Aldurin,
near to the kingdom of Raziel,
but they could not catch her,
we've been looking for her since
then.
It´s said that she was carrying
a baby. If anyone has seen her,
it is your duty as servants of
heaven to tell us where she
lies, to make her pay for all
the crimes and she must make
herself responsible to Heaven
for your sins.

The townspeople look at each other in confusion, when

EDDIE, a simple farmer from the town and a great friend
of Lilith's, steps forward and says.

EDDIE
What exactly did that woman do?

DAGEN
That's none of your business
commoner. If you know where she
is, you should say so.
 EDDIE
Why should I do it? You haven't
done anything for our people, we
are attacked by demons, goblins
and beasts, many of our men,
women and children have lost
their lives cause of this. My
son was one of those victims!

Eddie wipes away his tears of anger and sadness at the

loss of his son. He squeezes his hands.

EDDIE (CONT'D)
We asked the kingdom for help
and no one came. Now you dare to
come here and tell us what to
do?

Dagen approaches Eddie.

DAGEN
You know her, don't you?

Eddie freaks out and takes a few steps back.

EDDIE
(afraid)
No… I don't know who you're
talking about.

Dagen nods to his teammates and they catch Eddie. Between

screams he tries to avoid being taken away, Dagen hits
him with the handle of his sword and knocks him out.

The townspeople go on a rampage trying to protect Eddie,

there is a big riot between the soldiers and the
townspeople. Dagen decapitates a woman, blood splatters
everywhere and an overwhelming silence overcomes all the
environment, the head rolls all the way where Lilith is,
she contains her desire to scream and run scared.

DAGEN
(Screaming)
Listen! Those who are against
heaven, are against God and the
Angels.
They will become heretics and be
judged, punished and purified by
my holy hand!
