Road Closures
Beginning Wednesday, June 29th at 9:00am until Saturday, July 2nd at 6:00am
• Civic Center Drive between W. Broad St. & West Main St.
• W. Long St. between Hocking St. & Marconi Blvd.
Broad Street Bridge
9:00am the north curb lane will be restricted to public safety responders only
5:00pm- Closes to all vehicular traffic
9:00pm- Closes to all pedestrian traffic

Rich Street Bridge


2:00pm- Closes to all vehicular traffic (Will remain open to pedestrian traffic.

Main Street Bridge


2:00pm- Closes for parade formation and will remain closed until after the
event. The pedestrian walkway will remain open.

Trail & River Access
Beginning Monday, June 27, the trail on the west side of the Scioto
River between the Rich St./Town St. Bridge and Broad Street Bridge
will be closed until Saturday, July 2.

Beginning Tuesday, June 28, the trail on the east side of the Scioto
River between the Rich St./Town St. Bridge and the Broad Street
Bridge will be closed until Saturday, July 2.

The Lower Scioto launch ramp at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park will
be open for trailers and motorboats on July 1. All public watercraft
will be prohibited on the Scioto River between the railroad trestle at
the south end of North Bank Park and the railroad trestle south of
the Main Street Bridge from 11 a.m. until after the fireworks. No
personal watercraft may be launched from the shore within this area.

Additional Information
Public set-up for Red, White & BOOM! may begin at 6 p.m. on Thursday,
June 30.

To keep your parks beautiful, we request that personal canopies, tarps


and blankets not be set-up until July 1

Areas should be marked with items that don’t present a danger to the
public. STAKES AND POSTS ARE PROHIBITED as they pose a danger to
playing children and can cause damage to irrigation systems.

The Scioto Mile Fountain will be turned off Thursday, June 30 at 6 p.m.
and will resume operation Saturday, July 2 at 11:00 a.m.

Bicentennial Park restrooms will be closed on July 1 Red, White &


BOOM!

Genoa Park will be closed to the public from Monday, June 27 through
Saturday, July 2.

(May be purchased and consumed at the Beer Gardens, on
Long Street, Spring Street, Civic Center Drive, Main Street,
and Washington Boulevard.)

your cooler labeled with your name
and cellphone number. Due to
security concerns, unattended coolers
may be confiscated if we are unable to
get ahold of you.
