Do / Does
ทาหน้าที่ 2 แบบ ด้วยกัน คือ
แบบที่ 1 ทาหน้าที่เป็นกริยาแท้ ในประโยค โดยที่ do จะแปลว่า ทา
เช่น I do my homework.
He does his housework twice a week.
She does the laundry.
แบบที่ 2 ทาหน้าที่เป็นกริยาช่วย ไม่มีความหมาย เพราะเป็นแค่ผู้ช่วย ซึ่งจะใช้ใน
ประโยคปฏิเสธ หรือ คาถาม จะพบในรูป present simple tense
เช่น He doesn’t like coffee.

We don’t go to school by bus.

ประธานเอกพจน์ ใช้ does ประธานพหูพจน์ ใช้ do
 ประโยคปฏิเสธ ( do not / does not )

Verb to do ต่อหลังประธาน และตามด้วยคาว่า not
